Lupinophile

A full month passed since Melinda Warren lost her husband, Kyle Warren, during a camping trip, and late that evening, she was on the phone with Kyle's sister, Teresa Warren; their first time talking since the funeral.

"I'm so glad to hear from you," said Melinda. "Hearing your voice has lifted my spirits."

"I know," replied Teresa. "I know how much you loved my brother."

"He was my whole world, Terri," Melinda said somberly as she looked at the full moon through her window.

"I mean, it's strange that Kyle was killed by a wild animal," said Teresa. "You made sure that it was a safe campsite, so I don't know how it could be possible." At that moment, Teresa heard what sounded like a wail from Melinda; a wail of intense anguish.

"I'm sorry," Melinda said, "I'm still processing losing Kyle. I'll see you later." After hanging up, Melinda continued wailing, but the pain was replaced with a tone of arousal, which was followed by her eyes changing from her normal green color to an animalistic yellow. Black hair started to cover her body, and she displayed sharp teeth while continuously snarling. Her werewolf transformation complete, Melinda howled before admiring herself in her mirror, as the lupinophile loved what she was seeing.

"You're right, Terri. I made sure it was safe, because I wanted to be the only animal who tore Kyle apart. And if you ask too many questions, dear sister-in-law, you'll be next!"
