Little man
Once upon a time, there was an old man and an old lady. They have no children and no daughters, but the two live by each other.
One day, the old lady went to the ground to cut cabbage and accidentally chopped off one of her fingers. The old lady hurried home, wrapped the broken finger with a rag, and put it on the kang.
Suddenly, the old lady heard someone crying on the kang, and she felt very strange. After listening carefully, she realized that the cry was coming from the rag. So, she untied the rag, but was surprised to find that there was a little boy the size of a finger lying inside.
The old lady was scared and asked, "Who are you?"
The little boy replied, "I am your son, born from your finger."
The old lady picked up the little man and looked at it, thinking that this little thing was quite cute. Besides, they had never had children, so she decided to keep him at home.
Although the little boy will never grow up again, he is a very smart little man.
One day, he asked his aunt, "Where is my father?"
The old lady replied, "Working in the fields!"
So the little man said, "I'll help him." With that, he jumped to the ground and disappeared. He walked to the field, found the old man, and said loudly, "Hello, Dad!"
The old man looked left and right, but he couldn't find a figure. "Strange, I saw no one in the voice, who was calling me?" The old man didn't know about the little man.
"It's me, your son, I'm here to help you farm. Dad, sit down and smoke a cigarette and rest for a while."
The old man was very happy when he heard the little man's introduction, and he sat down to lunch. The little man climbed into the horse's ear and instructed it to plow the land.
The little man said to his father, "If someone wants to buy me, sell it to him, please don't be afraid, I won't lose it, I'll come home!"
At this time, a nobleman rode a fast horse and galloped towards it. When he passed the field, he couldn't help but be stunned, because he saw the horse plowing the field, but no one was driving it.
The old man saw the nobleman in a daze and said, "What's the matter with you, this is my son plowing the land." The old man said and pointed at the horse's ears.
The nobles were even more surprised that there were such small people in the world.
"Sell it to me!" said the nobleman.
"No, not for sale. A little boy the size of a finger is my wife's child and our only consolation."
"Sell it, old man!" the nobleman urged.
"Then, give a thousand rubles!"
"What?" The nobleman was stunned, "Why is it so expensive?"
"Look, this kid is timid and bold. Although his legs are short, he runs fast. He is a good messenger!"
So the nobleman paid a thousand roubles, took the little man, put it in his pocket and went away.
The little man bit a hole in his pocket, jumped out of the hole and escaped.
He walked and walked for a long, long time, and when night fell, he lay under a grass by the side of the road and fell asleep.
At this time, a hungry wolf came and swallowed it in one bite: the little man is not dead, he lives in the belly of the hungry wolf.
The hungry wolf ate the little man and went to live again. He saw a flock of sheep, he saw the shepherd sleeping, and he quietly approached the flock. When it was about to pounce on a sheep, the little man suddenly shouted desperately in his stomach: "Shepherd, shepherd, here comes the wolf, wake up!"
The shepherd woke up, he picked up a big wooden stick and rushed towards the wolf, and a large group of shepherds also rushed up. The big bad wolf was bitten all over, and finally escaped.
From then on, the wolf could no longer find food, because every time the little man would remind people to run quickly. It was so hungry that it begged the little man, "Climb out!"
The little man said, "You send me home to my father and mother, and I will climb out."
The wolf had no choice but to send it to the old man's wooden house.
The little man immediately jumped out of the wolf's belly and shouted, "Fight the wolf, fight the big bad wolf!"
The old man grabbed the fire shovel, the old woman took the stove fork and ran out, and the wolf, who was so hungry that he was beaten to death in one fell swoop. They ripped off the wolf's skin and made a leather jacket for the little man, their son.
