When I woke up I was feeling a sharp pain in my back, it felt as though I was being stabbed by a thousand knives at once. "There he is." The woman's voice sang, "What's going on, what happened?" I asked as I glared at her. "It would be best if you didn't move, you see, you have a spine machine hooked up and well....If you move you could potentially break your spine and never be able to walk again." She clasped her hands together and turned to me. "This will take a few days, so just settle in because you won't be going anywhere." She then turned and left.

Chloe's POV

It's been a couple of weeks since I told Mae I would help her, we returned to her father's mansion and have been looking around for any clues as to where William has been, or where he could be located.

We searched every inch of the house, but found absolutely nothing. We separated in the hallway by the stairs. Mae went upstairs to check the bedrooms and offices, while I went to search the kitchen and rooms on the first floor. I made my way around the kitchen, searching the drawers, cubbards. And slowly making my way to the dining room the table was set up like somebody was still there, plates lining each seat napkins silverware right next to the plates, wine glasses. It's like the table was set for dinner that night. I kept moving through the mansion until I made my way to the ball room, Flashes of the last time I was here filled my mind. The dancing, William finding me, him acting like he didn't know me, the engagement announcement. Slowly I made my way over to the far corner where I stood at the ball, I put my hand gently on the now empty table and turned facing the stairs. I drew in a deep breath as I remembered how everything smelled, I slowly walked forward trying to remember the last things that were said. "Chloe!" Mae ran down the stairs, she stopped once she reached me and held out a piece of paper. "It's not a location, but I believe its a number to get ahold of someone who might know.

An hour later we were driving to a new location.

William's POV

I laid there trying not to think about the pain in my back. "It's to test your stamina." They informed me, It felt as though my spine was being wrapped around a spike bush. I breathed slowly and shut my eyes, everytime I do this I see her face, but now she looks pained, sad. I opened my eyes and looked up at the ceiling. "I need to find her." I muttered to myself.

Cale's POV

I sat at my desk in the front office and scrolled through the news feed on my computer, I was feeling content today, I knew where my son was and my daughter as well. I grinned to myself when I saw her searching through my office at the mansion, she knew I wouldn'ty be there. She was a smart one, a little too smart. She will eventually figure out that I planted that note for her to find to set her off on a different chase. Not to find her brother, oh no. To find me though, that's another story.

"Come in." I called out to someone knocking on the door, "The date is set, we have two more months before William will be let out." Melissa, said. She gave me a confident smile as she set some papers onto my desk. "Wonderful, and they will have him beliving that Mina is his wife?" Melissa stepped back and folded her hands together. "At your request."
