The light in her got brighter and brighter. So bright that people couldn't stand it. They needed protection from her light, so they started to shade her.
“You are too much”, one women yelled.
“The world doesn't run around you”, said another women.
“Just because you got your degree dosen’t me you smarting than me” said a man.
“You ain’t street smart” added another man.
She cried as her light got darker.
“Cry, baby cry!” they all chanted until she was engulfed by darkness.
She fell into a deep depression, forgot all her blessings. Forgot the power of her light.

Oh no, I feel so sad for her. People are so mean. I hope she finds her light again. Loved your story!

Hopefully she remembers her light again
What an interesting post!!! Good job and well written.
All too familiar but thankfully past tense 🌟 Well captured in so few words ❤️
Wow. This one hits hard. It’s raw and emotional! It's the kind of emotional spiral so many feel but rarely put into words this clearly. 💖
