Once upon a time in a village nestled amidst rolling hills and meandering streams there resided a peculiar being named Lumina. Lumina was, unlike the inhabitants of the village; she was composed entirely of light. Her shimmering form radiated with an array of colors spreading warmth and joy to all those who crossed her path.
As Lumina gracefully glided through the village her light would playfully dance along the cobblestone paths casting a mesmerizing spectrum of hues on the faces of the villagers. They were captivated by her beauty. She became a symbol of hope and inspiration. Lumina embodied the brilliance of life itself.
One day while strolling through the village square Lumina noticed a figure lurking in the corners. It was a creature named Obscurus, who thrived on negativity and darkness that sometimes overshadowed the hearts of the villagers.
Driven by curiosity and compassion Lumina approached Obscurus with a glow as she greeted him. Surprisingly of recoiling in fear or repulsion Obscurus found himself irresistibly drawn to Luminas light. Sensing his loneliness and sadness within him Lumina made it her mission to befriend him. Day after day she shared tales about the beauty that dwelled in this world – stories, about childrens laughter and magical moments that made existence extraordinary.
As Lumina and Obscurus spent time together something remarkable began to unfold.
Luminas light began to change Obscurus. His darkness started to fade. The villagers noticed the transformation, in Obscurus. Inspired by Luminas actions embraced him as a part of their community.
The village once divided between shadow and light now thrived in harmony. Luminas presence not brightened the lives of those around her. Also demonstrated that even the darkest corners could be influenced by the transformative power of compassion and understanding.
As time passed and seasons shifted Luminas light continued to shine. The village became a symbol of love and acceptance with Luminas story spreading wide. People from lands embarked on journeys to witness the captivating village and bask in the radiance of Luminas existence.
So within this village the tale of Lumina evolved into a legend—a constant reminder that every thread in lifes tapestry regardless of its brightness or dimness played an essential role, in creating a magnificent masterpiece filled with beauty and unity. Guided by Luminas example the villagers lived their lives with gratitude cherishing each moment woven into the changing canvas of existence.

Hiding Places
He woke up in the dark, still hanging in his dream. Sweaty hands swept across his pale face, moved his messy hair away from his still half-closed eyes. No muscle was ready to move yet, his eyes struggling to adjust to the dim room. Outside, vehicles droned and roared, engines spluttered, smoke rose into the air searching for freedom, becoming one with the clouds. His curtains shifted in the soft breeze, whispering through the marginally opened window. Footsteps sounded in the hallway, approaching. And water repeatedly dripped from the bathroom sink’s tap, a rhythmic tapping he’d almost adjusted to. It still caught him out first thing in the mornings, but otherwise blended in to the city’s gnawing symphony.
