But fear grips me. My soul plummets as the dragon emits a piercing screech. The creature embodies the essence of ancient times, present reality, and future possibilities... all at once. Life has transformed into a simulated video game.
Ellie holds me tightly, our hands intertwined. It feels like the end.
"Find me," she whispers, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead.
"But how will I recognize you?"
"You will."
Without hesitation, we take the leap.
Silence surrounds us, except for the rhythmic thumping of our hearts:
Ker-thud... ker-thud... ker-thud...
I awaken aboard a train. What level is this?
