kadambari's Fairyland

A Dream

By anu chandrashekarPublished about a year ago 2 min read

I awoke with a jolt, my heart pounding like a drum in my chest. The dream was still so vivid, it felt like I had just stepped out of Kadambari's magical realm. The air was still thick with the sweet scent of honeysuckle and the gentle rustling of leaves. I could almost hear the distant melody of a harp, echoing through the ethereal landscape.

It was a world unlike any I had ever seen, a place where dreams took tangible form and wishes were granted with a simple thought. I had always yearned for such a sanctuary, a place to escape the chaos and complexities of the real world. In my dreams, I often found myself exploring fantastical realms, but none had ever been as enchanting as Kadambari's Fairyland.

The fairy herself was a vision of ethereal beauty. Her skin was like porcelain, her eyes sparkled with celestial light, and her laughter was like the tinkling of wind chimes. When she asked me where I had come from, I had been overwhelmed by a mix of fear and wonder. This was a world I had only ever imagined, and I was afraid of being an intruder.

But Kadambari had understood my apprehension. With a gentle smile, she reassured me, her voice as soft as a summer breeze. "You are welcome here," she had said, her eyes filled with kindness. "This is a place of peace and joy."

As we explored the fairyland together, I was amazed by the wonders that surrounded us. Trees with leaves that shimmered like liquid gold, flowers that bloomed in every colour imaginable, and creatures that seemed to have stepped out of a storybook. A family of mischievous sprites played tag among the dandelions, their laughter echoing through the air. A majestic unicorn grazed peacefully in a meadow, its horn gleaming like a pearl.

Kadambari showed me a garden where thoughts could be planted and nurtured. I imagined what it would be like to grow ideas and watch them bloom into reality. She also took me to a library where books held the secrets of the universe. I could feel the knowledge flowing through me as I browsed through the ancient tomes, each page filled with stories of magic and adventure.

As the sun began to set, casting the fairyland in a golden glow, Kadambari offered me a chocolate and a sweet. I accepted them gratefully, savouring the taste of pure indulgence. As I ate, I felt a sense of contentment wash over me. I had found a place where I could truly be myself, a place where my dreams were limitless.

When it was time for me to leave, Kadambari gave me a blessing. She placed her hand on my forehead and whispered words of encouragement. I felt a surge of energy flow through me, filling me with hope and determination.

As I stepped back into the real world, I carried with me a piece of Kadambari's Fairyland. The memories of that magical place would stay with me forever, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope and beauty to be found.
