Journey of Vivian Alamain on Days of our Lives
Life of Vivian in DOOL

Days of Our Lives character Vivian Alamain was played by Louise Sorel from 1992 to 2000, again from 2009 to 2011, and once again from 2017 to 2018. 2019 saw a brief interim takeover by Robin Strasser.
In 1992, the part of Vivian was given to Louise Sorel, who was previously best known for her portrayal of Augusta Lockridge in the NBC serial opera Santa Barbara.
It was revealed in August 2017 that Sorel will make a second appearance on the soap opera, which would begin airing on December 29, 2017, and end on May 10, 2018, when the character would be killed off. On May 23, Vivian reemerged alive after receiving an injection of serum, awakening in the mortuary.
It came to light that Robin Strasser, an actress, would be appearing on the program in an unspecified capacity. Louise Sorel was unable to return due to short notice, thus Strasser would be playing a newly cast Vivian, it was confirmed on May 31. From September 3 through October 7, a total of 15 programs featuring Strasser are scheduled to run.
In March 1992, Vivian first visited Salem. She was presented to the audience as an Alamain family member who desired to take over the family business. John Black (Drake Hogestyn) had, however, taken over the company.
Since then, Vivian has played a role in some of the most surprising turns in "Days of Our Lives" history, and she has a pretty amazing list of wicked actions to her credit for a soap opera villain.
Vivian Alamain has produced a lot of drama for the residents of Salem throughout the years, as long-time viewers of "Days of Our Lives" are aware.
When Vivian initially arrived in town, she caused a commotion by shooting Alphonse LeBeque as he was holding her nephew Lawrence Alamain at gunpoint (according to Soaps).
LeBeque was holding Lawrence Alamain at gunpoint. Vivian eventually made the decision to wed Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) in an effort to gain some power after she was unable to manage her family's business.
It was revealed in December 2019 that Louise Sorel would play Vivian once more. From June 30 to July 20, 2020, when the character was presumed dead, she was back.
When Vivian Alamain returns, sort of, next week, Louise Sorel, who played the Days of Our Lives' biggest villainesses, will be returning. Vivian will get in touch with her son Stefan, as the report of the recent issue states.
Even while we won't actually get to see Alamain, we will get to hear her voice on January 30 when Stefan gets a surprise call from his mother.
So what is the purpose of Vivian's call to Stefan? It's possible that word of the manipulation of his son's memories reached his mother. Whether or not she has a suggestion for Stefan's next move, such as preventing Gabi from entering his thoughts or allowing the deprogramming to occur- It'll be exciting to have such a prominent figure back in the mix, even if it's only her voice, regardless of what happens.
Viewers of "Days of Our Lives" are all too aware of how powerful Vivian is and how she should not be underestimated. She has a lot of admirers who both adore and detest her because of the suffering and misery she has brought about over the years.
Later it was revealed in December 2020 that actress Linda Dano would join the show as a recast Vivian, with episodes premiering on February 3rd, 2021.
For those who may not remember, Vivian (then portrayed by Linda Dano) last appeared in 2021 when her sidekick Ivan gave her Eli and Lani's twins as restitution for her inability to raise Stefan and Jake.
The two were ultimately apprehended, and Vivian ended up in Statesville where she subsequently ran into Kristen and insisted she is included in an escape scheme.
