Crystal in the moonlight forms as ripples cascade from the center of the clear lake where I submerge myself, my hair glistening with the reflection of stars. The water is cool and quaint, and the air silent other than the crickets' conversations in the bushes. You watch me as I disappear, and giggle as I splash my feet to make the water dance along with me. Your eyes reflect me with a love and care that I can't see through my own. It’s gentle in the water here. You join me and we circle around, gliding across each other's forms, creating thin, clear trails of crystal in the moonlight.

I get lost in your face as I map out every freckle, every dimple, every scar. The moon, in all its glory, could never be so captivating. Your eyes, as dark as lunar maria, pull me close and trap me in their atmosphere. I settle in and let them take me.
