I met Her 4 Coffee

So walked in the coffee trying to protect the flowers from rain! She saw me as I entered brushing the intrusive water as it soaked into my autumn knit sweater! She gave me a smile and shouted, “Come here, Love Spelled!” With a laugh to her voice!

I had a dumbfounded look on my face and thought, how? She kept laughing, “you never hung up! I heard you and Ms. Rose’s entire conversation! Sit down and get some of this fireplace heat, then maybe I’ll set you on fire later!”

“How thoughtful, I haven’t had a man give me flowers in never!” “That long!” I replied. Still nervous from our last meeting. “Relax! I really didn’t want to bother you, but I couldn’t resist your smile! Then you bring me flowers! Where did you come from? They don’t make them like this anymore!”

“Well, give me my flowers, Love Spelled!” “So tell me”, with an inquisitive voice “why did you take so long to call me back?” She gave a quick sigh and buried herself into the deep leather chair, “I felt ashamed because I thought we messed up a perfectly good date night!” She started shaking her head! “You were such the gentleman and the night was so planned out! I was walking on clouds as you held my hand while walking from place to place! Holding the door, pulling my chair and placing the everything where it was needed!”

As the fireplace started to warm me off, my confidence got stronger by the words she said! I remember the words Ms. Rose said! The I said, “I’m ready for you to wrap your panties around my face!” She said, “WHAT!?!?” With disappointment and a smile on her face! By the time I realized it, I completely forgot about Ms. Rose said about patience and the gutter of me couldn’t stop thinking about her panties!

“I mean, that’s a nice warm fireplace!” Gem looked at me with a grin and said, “watch it, Love Spelled! I’m trying to give us grace! Admittedly, you had me feeling some kind of way the other night and that is why I was so free with you! DON’T MESS IT UP!” She leaned over and gave me the softest, longest kiss known to mankind! “I’m glad you came down, because if you didn’t, I was coming up to get you!” My mind said, “DAMN!” As Gem read my face and she started laughing!

“So where do we go from here?” I asked Gem as she reclined back and took a sip of her coffee. “Feed me cake!” As she gave a stern look with little effort to hold as she laughs under her breath!

Time got the best of both of us as the server yelled out last call and said he doesn’t have sleeping bags as it gets cold in here after he closes! “Two cold mockeotoes to go, please!” As I got my change ready! The server said, “ You want a shot bourbon with those? I shook my head and Gem started laughing and said, “I’m not getting toasted with you and Ms. Rose this late at night!”

“No” as I gently shadowed my hand over hers! “I was thinking you come up for some music and conversation!” “Just music and conversation” Gem replied! “Yeah, we can talk the night away! Well, what’s left of it!”

She smiled and took my hand as we departed with a small window of light drizzle, hoping the sky doesn’t fall out again in the middle of our walk back to my place.

The two walked hand in hand as the closing stree sounds faded their conversation and all that mattered were the short kisses along the way affirming that the other night was more than a heat of passion.
