I met Her 4 Coffee

Brunch on Saturday with a Baddie

By Jay LeTron DobbinsPublished about 13 hours ago 3 min read

The morning was innocent as we woke up on a the couch to birds at the window! The sun was giving a fighting chance as there was remains of a slight overcast, yet the mid morning couldn’t have a more perfect tense!

The music was still playing as if it provided protection for our hearts as we slept through the early morning hours. Gem turned over and gave me a long look! Her golden-brown eyes started to scan mine and she gave me a message with a distinct look of pleasure that we made it and established the highest form of intimacy as our hearts connected during pleasure of being and not the physical act!

I spent the morning chasing her soul and captivating her heart and this was the look she gave me of satisfaction.

With her gorgeous and perfect smile, she said “what’s for lunch? That chocolate bourbon gave me the munchies!” She started to kiss me gently and speaking softly between each kiss about how she never had chocolate bourbon and that I was hanging around Ms. Rose too much!

I sadly interrupted her, “let’s get ready for lunch. I know a place walking distance from here! You can put on my sweats and I have an extra toothbrush in the bathroom”.

She made her way to the bathroom and I started my way to pick out some casual sweats for us both.

Moments later, she came fixing her hair, “ I hope this is ok, I don’t normally look any kind of way for just anyone!”

I smiled and saw no imperfections! “Let’s go! The day awaits us and I can already smell those pancakes!”

We walked the street hand in hand and the 3 floor window opens and I started to laugh while shaking my head. “There goes the love birds! Gemma and Spelled sitting in the tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First come love, then come marriage, then come Gemma-“ “MS. ROSE! Come on now” as I interrupted Ms. Rose having fun at my expense!

Gemma laughed as we continued to walk towards the brunch spot. “Ms. Rose, you want something from Homegrown?” “No thank you baby!” Ms. Rose replied. I mumbled under my breath, “I wasn’t going to get you something anyway!” Gemma pinched me on the arm, “be nice!”

“That old lady!” I kicked a nearby can in frustration as we continued to walk towards the brunch spot!

The tables were full and the smell of breakfast was flying in the air! “You two love birds picking up or dining in?” We looked at each other and decided it was worth the wait and Saturday had nothing to offer.

Gemma got in front of me, “hold me! I’m a little cold! As she tilted her head back into my collarbone while whispering in my ear!

“I enjoyed last night” she replied! “We should have many more!” I’m like thinking to myself, hell yeah! Our table was ready, my stomach was growling!

People started to look at us and I heard whispers, “she is so beautiful!” “They look happy together!” As we sat at the table with anticipation to order, the server smiled at us and she handed us the menus. “First time, love birds?” At this point, I’m just going with the flow as we made nothing official yet, but people are starting to notice our body language!

“So, how would you feel about me filling out the boyfriend application?” Gemma smiled! “It’s not an application, silly! It’s all about understanding each other, and our actions makes it official.”

Well that was news to me because men need actual confirmation! I guess when she starts eating off my plate, it’s official!
