I heart you (3-way part 4)
Jerry Seinfeld fanfiction
Elaine is looking at George completely shocked, yet still calm, as Jerry walks into the living room.
Jerry looks at George in a questioning manner, and the latter shrugs.
“She kept asking me in this low voice what was going on. I couldn’t keep it together!” George says.
“You… you’re in love, is it?” Elaine says finally, her lips twisting into a smirk. “Jerry, what’s really going on?”
Jerry looks at her and seems determined, his direct expression fixed on her eyes, and he goes over to her and says, “I heart you.”
“Huh?” She says, looking at Jerry like he grew an extra ear.
“I heart you, and I heart George. I appreciate you two. After everything we’ve all been through, we’ve stuck together like nothing could ever keep us apart. We share the most nitty gritty details of our lives with each other, intimate conversations that even lovers don’t have—-and we all seem to understand one another pretty well. It’s safe to say, we are all extremely close. And…I guess that my lack of any real romance in my life has finally caught up with me, too. I… last week, I had a dream of you and George and we were cuddling in my bed. That was the whole thing, too. Nothing weird happened. And, It really hit me. When will I find a suitable partner to help me along this journey of life? When will you two? I just… kept thinking about it and thinking about it. About you both. And it suddenly clicked!” Jerry says and Elaine is so in awe with the speech she seems to have forgotten to breathe, but with the pause, she takes in a short breath. “I love you guys. So much. Both of you. And… I wanna be with you two.”
Elaine can’t believe it, and she doesn’t. She refuses to believe it, but she still says, “I love you guys, too,” and then proceeds to slide to the floor and almost faint.
George tries to help her up. “Oh jeez, Jerry, will ya help me?”
Jerry kneels down and picks her up, and puts her on the couch gently.
“Oh!” Elaine yelps. “Strong Jerry!”
“Yeah, you got some muscle there, buddy!” George winks. Jerry rolls his eyes but inside is incredibly proud of what he just did in front of prospective partners.
“I don’t want you two to think that I’m going for last pickings here or settling for anything with you two. I really think we all have something special and sweet and wonderful—-we just never transferred that strong bond of friendship between all of us into a possibly more important connection,” Jerry begins again.
“Oh, man. Thank goodness you’re not settling!” Elaine sarcastically says. “We wouldn’t want that!”
“But, I just said…” Jerry started defensively.
Elaine smiles. “I was kidding.”
“For the record, I love both of you, too,” George says.
“Really?” Elaine and Jerry ask together.
“Duh! Idiots!” George replies with a sly smile.
“Ah, so, we established we all love each other. Is this platonic love or…” Elaine starts.
“Romantic, right George?” Jerry says.
George nods. “Yes.”
“I’m gonna tell her. Okay, George?” Jerry says gently. George nods, but looks incredibly nervous.
“Oh, wait!” Elaine starts to sit up. “You two did something… didn’t you?”
“Okay, listen…” Jerry starts, and Elaine stands up, laughing.
“You kissed!” She says.
“No!” George spits out, but then looks at Jerry and feels terrible for denying it. “Yes. We did. Just before you came over.”
“Wow! Wow, wow, wow!” Elaine yells. “No way!”
“We did. Okay? Let’s move on. Please!” Jerry says.
“I wanna see you two do it!” Elaine yells, and George makes a face at her.
“No, we aren’t doing it! We just only started kissing, jeez, Laney!” Jerry says, and then stops, blushing.
“Oh, oh… okay, lemme gather my composure…” she takes in several deep breaths.
“I’m sorry… we are sorry about that. Okay? I just… it was just bottled up inside of me,” Jerry explains.
“You are all acting like a bunch of teenagers. I can’t believe this. Talk about your mid life crisis’!” Elaine says, but then sighs. “Okay. Enough dramatics. So… you two are actually proposing that we all agree to a relationship with one another. Is that it?”
“Yes. I mean… you dated Jerry, right? I guess then the real question is… would you wanna be with me, too?” George begins, and Jerry starts worrying over what this could really mean for their lives. How could this change their dynamics? Their schedules? How will dates work? How will any of this work?
Elaine thought about it, and she honestly hadn’t thought about it before. However, she did talk about a lot of personal things with these two men. She felt very comfortable with both of them with any information about herself. She was very attracted to Jerry. And George…
She liked George.
She felt that there was a chemistry between them she couldn’t deny, an unexplored one that felt more awkward than it needed to be.
And she saw over the last week something in Jerry’s demeanor change, and it was… raw.
It felt powerful.
And to Elaine, it seemed to give Jerry something of a glow to imagine them all together, as a couple. Seeing him talk about it just a moment ago with such devotion and passion…
She couldn’t deny the idea of something new like this was exciting to her.
She did care for both of them as well, very much, and meant what she said about loving them. But to elevate it to deep, unyielding romantic love?….
“Yes with you. And Jerry. Yes, I will. I wanna try this out,” Elaine says. “Can we… I wanna see you two kiss!”
George grins, “You are naughty!”
Jerry rolls his eyes. “No, this isn’t about watching each other get it on and make out. It’s a real commitment to each other. Okay?”
George nods. “I agree.” But, right after, he winks at Elaine and she giggles.
“I gotta be the straight man, huh? Okay. Let’s get some ground rules set right now,” Jerry says, making both George and Elaine burst out in hysterical laughter.
“You ain’t the straight man around here, honey!” Elaine says, tears in her eyes.
“Hah! She said it!” George sputters in between laughter.
“I’m leaving if you guys don’t stop!” Jerry says seriously, and they slow their laughter to a stop.
“Okay. Sorry. Sorry. So… I understand what you said. About this being a serious relationship. I am down. And… so, when can we both move in?” Elaine asks.
“Yeah, and which side of the bed are we sleeping on? I can’t sleep on the left. You know why!” George starts, and Jerry sighs.
“Cause you can’t make your moves to the right. Right?” Elaine answers.
“Right,” George nods.
“So you’ll sleep on my right. It won’t matter cause I’ll be in the middle. Okay, George?” Jerry answers.
“That’ll just mess up my whole thing! And why are you in the middle all the time? Can’t we take turns? What, are you the king of the bed and the whole relationship?” George argues.
“Yeah! Good point, Georgie! And I’d like the middle at some point. Like, Wednesdays and maybe a Sunday. And an alternating Saturday,” Elaine says.
“Don’t you worry, little missy, we’ll make a schedule for it!” George says with a flirtatious tone, but it sounded more serious than joking.
“No schedule! Let’s just alternate every night. Okay?” Jerry says in an exhausted voice.
“Where should my stuff go?” Elaine asks.
“Well… we will make room,” Jerry says.
George senses the stress in Jerry’s voice and goes over to him, putting his arm around the others shoulder. He starts rubbing Jerry’s shoulder, too, and he’s sighing in relief.
“Let’s just relax, now. We can work out all the details together, naturally as they come. Okay?” George says calmly.
Elaine nods. “Okay.”
They all sit down on the couch next to each other.
“Can… can we…” Elaine starts.
“What?” Jerry asks.
“I wanna kiss you and George, to seal the deal. Okay? Is that so wrong?”
George looks at Jerry and nods. “No. It’s not wrong. I mean, we got to kiss, Jer. She didn’t yet. It’s only fair.”
Jerry smiles. “Okay. So… how do you wanna do it? Me then George?”
“You then George. Then, you and George. Then, all of us.”
George shrugs.
Jerry sighs, but looks over at Elaine and smiles at her. She was very pretty, after all.
She suddenly got up, went over and sat on Jerry’s lap and kissed him chastely on the mouth, gently, then a bit roughly.
They look at each other, and her pupils become bigger, and she kisses him again, in a soft and sweet way. Hearts are pounding and George is watching but not jealous.
Jerry looks over immediately after at George and their own intimate connection is immediate, and Jerry gives him a look that says, you are next, get ready.
Elaine moves over, sitting on George’s lap, and then, going for a more innocent moment, they hug. They hug closely and it feels so warm and perfect.
Then, they slowly stop hugging, and look at each other.
“Pretty lady, what do you want with little old me?” George says shyly.
Elaine gets a kick out of it, and giggles.
Suddenly, he moves in and kisses her. On the side of her mouth, gently.
She leans in and kisses him deeply, with tongue.
It lasts for a minute, and then, Jerry starts taking the initiative.
He taps on George’s shoulder.
“Jer? You want some suga?” George asks.
“Shut up and kiss me.”
He leans and kisses George almost animalistically, and Elaine is turned on by it.
She moves and kisses both of them, and it’s a bit more difficult to do this, but in a sort of awkward shuffle, they all continue to kiss each other steadily.
They take a break, as Jerry has a question.
“Is touching each other allowed yet?”
George nods.
Elaine nods deeply.
Jerry realizes this might be too soon, and says, “Let’s just… how about we wait until after a few dates pass first. We aren’t easy, are we?”
“Yeah, like waiting for thirty years for your best friends to put their moves on you isn’t long enough!” Elaine says in frustration.
“You waited that long for this?” George says in awe. “You Should’ve told me that when I had all my hair!”
Jerry laughs. “Well, I’m just.. I’m just so happy we’re all together. You know?”
“I can tell. You seemed so miserable all those years telling those old jokes!” George teases, and Jerry laughs, shoving into him gently.
“I need you guys to help me with some fresh material!” Jerry says, yawning.
“We’ll give you some new stuff to talk about, alright!” Elaine says with a sleazy grin.
They all laugh, and finally settle down for the night.
George orders pizza. Elaine makes smoothies. Jerry makes a little blanket fort for them.
They all proceed to watch Home Alone under the blanket, eating take out pizza, drinking homemade smoothies, and for the record, George did not cry at all.
According to Elaine and Jerry, however, they did need to give him a quick pep-me-up cuddle, and a few tissues as well.
