Once there was a teacher. She loved all of her students. She wanted to make a huge difference in their lives, so one day she decided to tell them secrets and create assignments on them. These secrets were not a part of the curriculum. She knew it was risky but decided it would be worth it.

The first secret she told them was, "Always question the rules. Sometimes they are wrong."

"How can they be wrong?" the kids asked.

"Because they are sometimes more about training your mind to be controlled," the teacher responded.

The second secret she told them was, "Believe that you already have now anything you are wanting and believe that you already currently are anything you are wanting to be. Say or write I am . Say or write I have . Then say or write thank you."

"Why?" the kids asked.

"Thoughts are the key to how dreams come true. If you see it in your mind, it unlocks the door to where you want to go and what you want to have. All you have to do is open the door and walk through it. Remember, it is very important to be thankful for what is on the other side of the door."

The third secret she told them was, "Always love yourself. Look in the mirror each morning and say, 'I love you', believe it and smile."

The kids laughed. "You want us to talk to ourselves in the mirror?" they asked.

"Yes. This is how you will treat yourself well and make sure others treat you well. Treating yourself well will teach you how to treat others well."

The teacher wrote the secrets on the board and said they would stay there. Once per month she assigned the students the task of thinking of rules they disagree with and why. Every day, the kids wrote in their journals.

I am . I have . Thank you.

Then the kids lined up and each walked up to the mirror in the front of the class. Each one said, 'I love you', while believing it and smiled into the mirror.

Other teachers and administrators heard about the new methods of the teacher. They then told the teacher to stop using the methods because they were not approved in the curriculum.

The progress the kids made began to dwindle. They all complained to their parents that the school would not allow the methods. The parents saw the change in their children's happiness. They decided to talk to school officials. They asked if the methods could be approved if enough parents signed a petition. The officials reluctantly agreed.

Signatures were obtained from ninety percent of the parents. Some were obtained from parents outside the school district after the story of the methods had been explained.

The school board approved the methods.

All the students were so happy to see the methods return and their progress was restored. They began to get good grades. The things that they wanted to be and to have were handed to them more and more as they repeated the process and mastered it. The kids grew up to challenge the ways of the world for the better. They became successful in the careers they wanted to do.

New students entering the 4th grade always wanted the teacher to be their teacher. Her methods began to be used throughout the school district and eventually became known around the world. More and more teachers began following her methods. Neighborhoods all over the world saw less crime and more compassion. More and more people were happy and successfully following their dreams.

One teacher changed the world. All her students did too. The ripple grew and grew.
