There was once an actor named Humpty Dumpty. He auditioned for so many movies but could not get hired for an acting part.

Humpty, you are too big for this part, and you are too fragile for this part. There is no part in this film that fits you. Just go home and do not quit your day job.

The world was just so cruel to Humpty. He developed the worst disease an egg could ever get. The Cracked Disease.

Humpty had to go to urgent care because his yolk was sipping out from the small disease Crack.

Humpty arrived at Urgent Care. Humpty was told to go to the therapy division.

Nurse: What is going on Mr. Humpty Dumpty?

Humpty: I think I might have a cracked disease developing.

Nurse: Why do you say that, Mr. Humpty?

Humpty: My yolk is trying to sip out of my body through this crack on my side.

Nurse: Which side Mr. Humpty, let's have a look.

Humpty: It's on my left side crack. I do not want to die like my dad did. My dad fell on a wall and he could not be put back together again. My father had this disease worse than I did. It is called Failure Disease. It's also a bad allergy as well.

Nurse: Do you have any friends, Humpty Dumpty Jr.?

Humpty: Yes, Jack and Jill, they live next door with the old lady that lives in the shoe. Why do you ask?

Nurse: You need friends to cheer you up and the Crack will heal.

Humpty: That's impossible. Jack and Jill love tumbling down hills. I will surely completely Crack and die like my father.

Nurse: Calm down, and take some deep breaths.

Humpty did some deep breathing exercises as the nurses instructed.

Slowly, the yolk was starting to return to his body and the crack seemed to start healing.

Humpty: I am starting to feel better.

The nurse checked Humpty again and the crack started getting smaller and the leak stopped.

Nurse: It looks like breathing exercises and positive self-talk are just the cure you need. Do not forget to see your primary doctor in two weeks for a CT scan.

Humpty: Thank you, Nurse.

Nurse: If you do not heal your doctor might have to put you on some anti-anxiety pills to prevent you from cracking completely to the point of not putting your pieces together again. It might help stop cracking up.

Humpty: Will do.

Humpty was feeling good after coming from urgent care. The nurse gave him the 988 hotline to call if he felt a crack was coming.

Humpty avoided his friends Jack and Jill because they could be a bad influence.

Humpty it's safer to hang around with the goose who lay golden eggs. The goose would teach him self-care.

Humpty's mom asked if he would stop auditioning for movies.

Humpty told his mom he was just taking a short break from auditioning.

Failure runs on his father’s side of the family. Humpty’s mom was a hard-boiled egg. She did not crack at all nor did she rut.

Humpty’s mom was a role model of a good A+ egg. Humpty’s mom came from a wealthy farm. Nobody understood why his mom married a loser.

Humpty Dumpty Sr. was a product from a poor farm. He was a product of a poorly graded egg farm.

Everyone predicted Humpty Sr. was not going to last long, and no one could help him be put together again after he completely cracked.

Humpty Jr., I isolated, himself for two weeks for fear he would get broken again before his doctor's appointment.

The Day of his doctor's scheduled appointment:

Doctor Macy: Humpty Jr., What brought you in today?

Humpty Jr.: I fear I will crack and end up like my father. I have been auditioning for roles in movies, but I don’t seem to fit in.

Doctor Macy: We do have a pill for anxiety that might help you out. I recommend you see a therapist while you are taking it.

Humpty Jr.: I will try anything at this point. I am fearful of leaving the house for fear anything will cause me to crack.

Doctor Macy: Do not fear—this pill has a high success rate. You must take it regularly for six months.

Humpty Jr.: I will give it a try.

Doctor Macy: Great, I will see you in a couple of months, and I will ask my secretary to set an appointment with a therapist for you. Please go to the emergency if you have uncontrollable thoughts of harming yourself while taking this pill.

**********

Humpty had been taking his new prescription on a regular basis and seeing his therapist every two weeks to monitor the effect of the new pill he is taking.

He has bumped into some intrusive thoughts of hurting himself, but his therapist asked him what was stopping him from hurting himself. He told him he was told that it was wrong to kill yourself. God would not be happy about that and he would not go to heaven if he killed himself.

Six months had passed and Humpty Dumpty was back to socializing again. He had pulled himself back together and started a new life.

He landed a part in The Nursery Rhyme Product with the starring role, “ Humpty Dumpty.”

His friends and family were so proud of his achievement. He made his dream come true.

The Humpty Dumpty movie was a blockbuster hit, breaking records at the Box office. It was the highest-grossing movie of all time, with a lifetime gross of over $5.8 billion.

This was such an amazing story! I kinda relate to Humpty Jr, because he has self-doubt. I have that at times, whether it comes to writing or even fantasy sports. But I find a way to persevere, and so did Humpty Jr. This was such an amazing story and WELL WORTHY of being Top Story!

  • Whoaaa, that was phenomenal! I'm so happy Humpty didn't turn out like his father. So happy for him. Your story was so creative and engaging. Such a fun read. Congratulations on your Top Story! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
