Heavely Seas - Chapter 14
Theo does everything he can to make his "Mummy Dearest" happy...

Theo would do anything for his Mummy Dearest. The poor woman was so heartbroken over the death of her eldest son. She brought Calvin into the world and was also the one who made him leave. Little Heath wasn’t quite himself either. Theo knew what he had to do. He had to bring his brothers back for her.
Dragging Calvin out of the sea was simple enough. Heath was another matter; the little skeleton would be hard to retrieve. Calvin’s corpse was wet weight. If he were human, he would have had no chance of lifting his own weight. He hoped there was still blood in Calvin. Mummy Dearest would do anything to listen to his banter again.
He saw an unused trolley abandoned on the deck and placed Calvin there as if he were a doll. “Oh my favourite big brother, you look so pale. Don’t worry, I’ll get you all ready for Mummy Dearest to see you.”
“Theo!”
As much as he hated the man in front of him, he couldn’t help but be polite. “Oh, hello there, Gong-Gi!”
“What are you doing?” Gong-Gi’s eyes widened as if he had seen a ghost. He heaved; he must have been ill. He wasn’t sure why; there was nothing to worry about. After all, Theo was just a typical vampire trying to bring his dead brother back to life as one does.
“Oh, I’m preparing a family get-together!”
Gong-Gi stepped back against the wall. “I see…”
“Indeed.” Theo grinned. “Got to make sure we’re all minty fresh for the celebration.” He was sure, Minty Fresh was the name of one of Gong-Gi’s songs.
“What exactly happened to Calvin?” Theo asked, fixated by Calvin’s discoloured skin.
“Oh, don’t worry, he’s in good hands. Let’s talk about you, Gong-Gi.”
“I need to go!” Gong-Gi dashed towards the fire exit.
“Why the rush?” Theo asked. Had he done something wrong? All he wanted to do was have a nice chat and get to know a man who spent so much time with Mummy Dearest. “The party hasn’t even started yet. You could come too!”
“Make it quick.”
Theo took time to notice the genuine fear in Gong-Gi’s small eyes. It made him smile. “You are hot.”
“Excuse me?” Gong-Gi seemed disgusted. Was a friendly conversation so much to ask for nowadays? He seemed disgusted. Theo wondered if he had said anything wrong?
“Why are you running away from me?” Theo asked.
“You’re creeping me out!”
“Aww, you cutie.”
“Did you kill him?”
“No, he and Mummy Dearest had a few disagreements. So she sorted him out.”
“Are you saying your mother killed your brother?”
“Yes. Oh, by the way…has anyone ever told you what a beautiful neck you have?”
“Go away!” Gong-Gi scurried towards the dock and threw a deck chair in his face.
Theo remained unfazed. Levitating, he licked his lips and centred his eyes on Gong-Gi’s neck. “If only I could just bite on it all day.”
“What have you guys done to Apollo?” Gong-Gi asked. It was a question, Theo never expected to be asked. As far as he was concerned, Gong-Gi didn’t care about his children, apart from the girls from his first wife.
“Why would we want to hurt Apollo?” Theo laughed. “Oops, I shouldn’t have said that. Daddy’s big secret is out. Karma works in mysterious ways, doesn’t it?”
“What’s so funny?” Gong-Gi was cornered. He had two choices: jump to a watery death or fight Theo. Theo hoped for the latter. Gong-Gi was going to die either way, but a bit of fun is always nice. He was tired of eating cold dishes all the time.
“You’re such a horrible person, you only get away with it because you’re sexy.”
“No!” Gong-Gi did his best to fight Theo off, but to no avail. “Get off me! HELP!”
Theo gave Gong-Gi the knuckle sandwich he had wanted to do for ages. He couldn’t get over the thrill of a fresh dinner. Theo gagged Gong-Gi with his hands, leaving Calvin’s body aside for a meal he considered more exotic.
“It’s time you got taught a lesson for ditching my Mummy Dearest…” Gong-Gi’s yelling makes sucking his blood taste sweeter. He could have devoured him there and then, but where's the fun in that? He needed to suffer. “Oh, your cries are delicious. Do keep going!”
“Why?” Gong-Gi panted. It was payback, Theo thought to himself. He considered it justice for all the hearts Gong-Gi broke over the years. The way he drove Elaine into insanity. She had a promising career, but she had to spew all her hatred onto Mummy Dearest…she would pay for it soon.
Theo cackled as he brought his head up. “I know everything that happened. Heath and Apollo were best friends who shared an allergy. Mummy Dearest and Elaine were lovers. Daddy discovered the affair and vowed revenge. So he gave both the boys a milkshake. Only one survived. Mummy Dearest took Apollo to the hospital and pretended it was Heath. Oh, don’t get so worked up. We took good care of him. And before you ask, the real Heath is buried on the farm: behind the apple tree where the sheep roam.”
“Y-you… are c-c-crazy!” Gong-Gi muttered, spitting out blood.
“I would love to finish you off, but that would be boring.” Theo licked blood from Gong-Gi’s neck. He tiptoed towards Calvin’s body and used a trolley to carry him inside. “But I don’t want to ruin my tea. My lovely friend Rose has prepared a feast for me. It’s a pity you can’t make it.”
There were a lot of things that Theo didn’t understand, but he knew this…everyone who hurt his Mummy Dearest would be cursed.
