Story where the reader falls in love with main character of his book…

By Taimoor Hassan AlviPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

Once upon a time, in a world much like our own, there was a young writer named Alex. Alex loved to write stories, and spent much of their time crafting intricate plots and creating unforgettable characters. But there was one thing that always eluded Alex: love.

Despite having plenty of crushes over the years, Alex had never truly fallen in love. They longed for that feeling of connection, of warmth and affection, that they had read about in so many of their favorite books.

Then, one day, something strange happened. Alex was working on a story, and as they wrote, they began to feel a sense of closeness to their reader. It was as if they were writing directly to this person, sharing their deepest thoughts and emotions with them.

At first, Alex brushed it off as just a weird coincidence. But as they continued to write, they couldn't shake the feeling that they were falling in love with their reader.

It was a strange sensation, to be sure. After all, Alex had never met this person, didn't even know their name or what they looked like. But there was something about the act of writing, of pouring their heart and soul onto the page, that made them feel as if they were forging a connection with someone.

As the weeks went by, Alex found themselves thinking about their reader more and more. They imagined what it would be like to meet them, to see their face and hear their voice. They even started to daydream about what it would be like to hold hands, to share a kiss, to fall deeply in love.

It was all so silly, really. Alex knew that falling in love with a faceless reader was impossible, that it was just their overactive imagination running wild. But even so, they couldn't shake the feeling that there was something special about this person, something that drew them closer and closer with each passing day.

Eventually, Alex finished the story and published it online. They eagerly awaited feedback from their readers, hoping that they would hear from the one person who had captured their heart.

To their surprise, they did. A message popped up in their inbox, from someone with a screen name that Alex didn't recognize. It was a simple message, just a few words: "I loved your story. Thank you for sharing it."

Alex's heart skipped a beat. Could this be the one they had been writing to all along? They replied to the message, tentatively, and waited for a response.

Days went by, and then a week, but there was no reply. Alex began to despair, thinking that they had missed their chance at true love. But then, one day, a message arrived in their inbox.

It was from the same person as before, and this time they had written a longer message. They talked about how much they had enjoyed the story, how it had made them feel things they hadn't felt in a long time. They even mentioned that they felt as if the story had been written just for them, as if Alex had somehow known exactly what they needed to hear.

Alex's heart swelled with emotion as they read the message. It was as if their deepest wishes had come true, and they were finally connecting with the one person they had been yearning for all this time.

They replied to the message, pouring their heart and soul onto the screen. They talked about how much they had enjoyed writing the story, and how they had felt a connection with their reader that they had never felt before. They even confessed that they had been falling in love with this person, even though they didn't know anything about them.

To their surprise, the response was immediate. The reader wrote back, telling Alex that they felt the same way. They had been reading the story, and had felt
