Happy Dracogiving
Thanksgiving In The Land Of Emberreach

All through the land of Emberreach, the young dragon wingmates buzzed with anticipation, working tirelessly to set a proper Dracogiving table for their Overlord. In the midst of autumn leaves shaking loose from the trees, there were echoes of bellows at the annual Wyvern turkey hunt.
Each young dragon wingmates flew low in the forest sky, weaving in and out of the towering trees, looking for all the ingredients for their Overland's Dracogiving. The young dragon wingmate who captured the most giant Wyvern turkey would be rewarded by sitting with the Overlord during the meal.
The nippy breeze carried a concoction of putrid dragon spittle, sage, and mustard, making the Overlord of Emberreach gnaw at the thought of dinner finally beginning. His impatience was palpable as he could hear the beating of his young dragon wingmates arriving back to his castle's kitchen. The Overlord's patience grew thin as he scratched his dagger nails against the burlap tablecloth.
"Where is my food!" shrieked the hangry dragon.
As the Overlord seethed on his humanbone throne, savory foods began to arrive for his tasting. The first course was a Sorcerer's greens of dried grass, candied pig knuckles, and cranberry venom dressing. The main course was a crimson-glazed Wyvern turkey roast with a glazed carrot nightshade mash. Finally was a decadent mudfire pudding with shards of human fingernails dipped in powdered sugar.
The Overlord was most pleased with this year's menu as he gorged on this grand feast. His satisfaction was noticeable as he sat sedated from his Dracogiving meal, he drank his cranberry-spiced emberwine and thought of the many things he was grateful for his deadly roar, his inferno gaze, and his deceptive foliage scales that trapped stupid humans when they thought it was safe to be outside and play.
Happy Dracogiving!

Great story!
That was creative!
What a cute and unique story! I love the whimsical dragons and light hearted fantasy feel of this.
Oooo, I wish I can join him as well hehehehe. Loved your story!
Ha! I love this story! And although the food would be inedible for me, you made everything sound delicious. Except the mudfire pudding. I would definitely get it without the fingernail garnish. 😅
Just a typical Hoilday in Emberreach, eh? Very imaginative!
What a great creative Thanksgiving story. That dragon is something else.
