“Could it be…you were trying to warn us,” Silas whispered cautiously. Waves radiated off their skin like magnets drawing them farther in with each pass.
“This surely wasn’t our best idea,” Cassie replied matter-of-factly.
“Well it’s a bit too late to go back, we’ve never gotten this far before.” Silas warned.
“Morgana Whitmore surely never wrote about this in her handbook…” Cassie muttered offhandedly.
“Besides, who would’ve known we’d have our very own spot of sky to swim in,” Silas cried-out, pointing to the clouded opening at their feet.
“That’s not the sky…” Cassie began, but it was too late.
