Myers reached out his hand and pulled Laurie into the compactor. He crawled out and they charged at him, but he was gone in a flash. The citizens of Haddonfield let out a collective gasp. There were whispers and gaping mouths. He was not human. He had vanished in front of Laurie back in 1978. This hinted at his supernatural nature, but no one wanted to admit that.
He was once again loose. The Boogeyman was alive. He knew the grand daughter was alive. They call her Allyson. She had no importance to the Shape. He let Corey take the glory on this night. He had helped Corey kill Nurse Deb. He let everyone think he was some doddering old man. Four years ago, he had killed an entire mob. He lay dormant for four years and now he was back.
He popped up in the backseat and slit Barker’s throat. He had killed Bracket four years ago and now he had just killed Barker. Now he had one name on his mind. It was Danny, Judith’s ex-boyfriend. He shoved Barker out of the Sheriff’s car and headed to Danny’s modest home. The shape knew he was missing his mask. That was on Laurie’s mantel. He did not care about the mask. He was not Ghostface, where the mask defined him and made him who he was. He was the shape, the Boogeyman. He was Michael Myers and he was going to finally kill the mother fucker that defiled his sister on Halloween night back in 1963.
He knocked on the front door. An elderly Danny answered the door. No one was there. He closed the door and went to sit on the couch. Michael Myers appeared behind Danny. Michael picked him up with his pipelike arm wrapped around Danny’s throat. Danny’s eyes widened as he was lifted up in the air. The vice-like grip clamped tighter and tighter until a satisfying crunch could be heard. The Shape dropped the corpse and drove to Laurie’s house.
Allyson stood at the window as rain gently hit the window. Her arms were folded across her chest. She locked the doors and headed to bed. She lay in bed staring up at the ceiling. Every little noise made her jump. She took a sleeping pill. A noise made her jump; it was the sound of glass breaking! She sat up in bed, grabbed her revolver, and headed to the living room.
Her window had been broken. She stood in her grandmother’s office; she was keenly aware of Michael’s presence. She heard his breathing but could not find him. She knew he had his mask. She was in his presence and he was waiting for the perfect moment to strike. She shivered. Laurie checked every room and when she saw that the mask was missing, she gasped. She stood in her grandmother’s office acutely aware that she was in evil’s presence even if she could not see him.
