Grizzly Mountain
Wyoming Ski Hazards
I’m on the ski patrol making sure the runs are free of hazards before we open. This qualifies.
Below me a massive Grizzly bear’s watching me. I can only go down, so I’m trapped.
To his right, it’s open if I can just get by him. To his left, a small jump. He’s moving towards me I so went right to get him moving right, then I cut left towards the jump.
He’s closing but was still well below me. He stood up just as I launched but I cleared him by three feet. Tonight I’m buying a Powerball ticket.

If You Love Me, You'll Do It
I met Jason when I was five years old. I could say that I loved him from the moment I saw him. He was so handsome to me and I felt in awe by his presence. When they introduced him as the new kid in school, I wanted to be his friend right away. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember his smile and how he didn't seem shy. He appeared confident and ready to learn. I waved at him and said "hello," before anyone else could even say a word. He sat next to me, and I asked him if he wanted to be friends. He looked so happy as he said, "Yes!"

It wasn’t the right time to leave a party, nor the right time to tell your hostess you weren’t feeling well and you had to leave immediately. The hostess shook her head like the defection was nothing new and went back to attending to her more worthwhile guests. Annaliese’s friend, Kimberly, offered to drive her back to the house, but Annaliese wouldn’t hear of it.
