I knew one thing was for certain when I walked into this... Land. This Land of the Undiscovered.
I was doomed for destruction.
The people, the... beings in this ... World. They were so very different compared to Us.
These beings owned large animals that walked on two feet as though they were humans... but they were not. There were masculine figures with tamed dragons, dragons with burning orange and dripping blood red embers for scales. They had feminine figures walking around, books of all various shapes and sizes in their arms, heading towards a group of Dimension portals. They had muscular figures casually playing with dragons as though they were Pets. These dragons had aqua crystal shards for scales, paired with frosty mist shimmering all around their large bodies. There were men and women carrying around armor made of viciously both venomous and poisonous snakes, their scales looking and sounding like metal clanging.
I wanted to run yet I could not. I was forbidden.
Forbidden by whom? One may ask.
Well, the answer is rather obvious for those who could not only see my current state, but also had the knowledge of what occurred minutes previous. The woman who captured me did not allow me to run away. Her hold on my wrist was tight and definitely secure.
Since one may still have confusion as to what is going on, please, allow me to explain the beginning of this journey.
Where I used to live, We had vehicles that defied gravity's never-ending and unwavering pull. We had devices capable of displaying what they held in their microscopic chips for Eyes to see and to enjoy. Where I lived, it took less than a nanosecond to get anywhere on Our Dimension's Web. It took less than this time to do anything you wished, anything you wanted. Everything We did not need to create or make We did not waste Our materials on.
Useful resources MUST be saved for Our Future Generations. We WILL conquer every difficulty with Our overwhelmingly genius MINDS! We are the EXPERTS OF TECHNOLOGY! We are the Blue Dimension!
Even though there were and are so many experiments and inventions I could have achieved and invented with the brilliant Mind They claimed I owned, I grew tired. I grew tired of Our overly genius capabilities. Everything was starting to repeat; Our slogan was beginning to become a fantasy. We were not creating anything new, We were repeating the old with newer technology. I strived for something We had not yet found. I strived to find the True New. The Unknown.
I found one of my father's old Maps he kept hidden away from the Alphas -- May they forever reign -- and began to follow it. I began to follow its path. I wanted to Discover. I wandered after my time at Work. My Work was named Flair. Only Blue Males could work there, Blue Females were incapable of understanding what We did. Nonetheless, I explored this ... Undiscovered. The Unknown.
I needed... no. I craved to find the New, the Undiscovered. I wanted to find We did not know, something we did not discover. We had every Map in existence, of all Dimensions, all on Paper, but we did not use them. In my private time outside of Work, I even discovered these Maps had not been updated in many centuries. The Alphas -- May they forever reign -- believed this was what all Dimensions still looked like after the Hurricane.
As I gazed at the Paper in my hands, I noticed the forest in front of me was of the Uncharted. Technically, this meant that it was part of the Forbidden. This forest was named by the Genius Overlords: Bawa. Nobody was allowed to enter this forest. If one were to, this meant Our society could be threatened by an Outsider.
This is where the Woman I spoke of earlier found me. This Woman, this... Outsider.
The Woman's hair was red, as red as pure blood. These currents of blood held sparkling golden streaks like lightning. All of these coursed through her Hair like diamonds sparkling in the sunlight. Her eyes... the Afternoon's warm breath; the Night's twinkling starlight. These times of the day, these beautiful hours, were fighting one another in a fiercely combat for dominance over territory. Her appearance was graceful yet dominant. Her voice: blessed by the Angels of the White Dimension. She must have been an Angel. The Goddesses of the White Dimensions definitely blessed her directly.
When She spoke, She spoke an Unknown Language to me. Nonetheless, my body and mind were swooned into a trance. There was a small section of my mind that was screaming this was a trap set up by Her. I tried to break free as soon as this occurred, but She continued to whisper gracefully to me and I could no longer resist.
When she noticed, she quickly took advantage. She clutched my wrist in her grasp and used Her other hand to grab a knife and poke into my wrist. She lifted my wrist to her mouth and gently dabbed the droplet of blood on her lips.
Once I slightly sobered from the trance She put me in, I saw two more droplets begin to escape from the small poke. Immediately, I grabbed at my wrist and stole it back from Her grasp. The slight stinging pain was prominent enough to completely sober me. I watched Her as I was trying to figure out what in the Dimensions She did to me that allowed Her to completely take over my entire body. I looked Her in the eyes -- those fierce eyes -- and watched as She licked Her lips.
"Who are you?" I asked the Angel. She looked at me as She allowed my blood's taste to linger. She squinted at the taste when she swallowed. I knew She thought my blood was 'impure.' That was certain. Inside, I sighed. She would be hostile towards me until I could prove it to Her otherwise.
What did all of this mean?
What She just performed was an ancient-old Tradition our Ancestors created, far back before both the Hurricane and the Typhoon.
This act of tasting the blood of an individual you never met before was not strange in our Ancestor's time. However, it is very rare to see it re-enacted in Modern. Not only that, but many Dimensions have since banned the use after their disastrous event happened -- the Bloodthirsty.
If the individual's scent is not familiar and the individual seems threatening to the Culture and Dimension, the Guest was allowed to poke a small hole and taste the blood upon mutual agreement. The tasting was so they could start the process of becoming allies. This was due to the individual's agreement to even go through with this act. Sometimes, this tasting was enacted even if they were already allies. If the individual traveled through numerous Dimensions -- especially when there were many more than Modern --, their scent may be unfamiliar or uncertain.
"I should ask the same. You do not have the same blood as any of Us -- any of those I have met previous. It tastes... vulgar," She answered. I felt taken aback and offended. However, the way Her words fell off Her lips made me weak and not care about this insult after a few seconds. She took a second glance at me, then a few more seconds to look at my surroundings. A quick flash streamed across her eyes and She gripped my wrist. She began to guide me further into the Undiscovered, into Bawa. "I bring you back... to be researched on."
I seemed to fall into a trance of acceptance at Her touch. I did not realize exactly how far She was taking me until It appeared. This "It" was a tall mirror. It glowed a soft shade of Orange. I describe it as a mirror because I was able to see both of our faces and, as we grew closer, our whole bodies on It.
We stepped through this Mirror. She guided me and I watched as ripples formed around Her body. I was awestruck. Her figure was perfectly replicated in these ripples. I followed. Her grip on my wrist did not allow me to turn around, to make my own decisions. These same ripples formed around my arm, and I can only assume my entire body, and a smile formed on my lips. The Mirror felt... like a solid liquid, but also gaseous. It was confusing and Indescribable.
Was this the feeling of... Aesthetic? The Aesthetics the Artists speak of constantly? Have I gone mad...?
Now, we are here. Her World. Her... strange... World. Snake armor, tamed dragons, swift owls, vicious hawks, neon cats, and so much more. It was so much to ingest, so much to take in at once. Even the pebbles underneath us were overwhelming!
