Tiny cameras pervaded the brain. They took snapshots.

“We’ll just squirt them on the big screen,” Dr. deHavilland said. His black skin blended in with the screen until it illuminated.

“We’re able to see them now.”

The crab-like structures of cancer became magnified on the screen. Mini-vacuum cleaners followed the cameras. Like the household appliance, they sucked up the cancers on Zeta Corcoran’s glioblastoma.

Dr. Manuela Castello looked at her colleague and smiled. It was a knowing, intelligent smile.

“We’ve done it, Dr. This is what we’ve been waiting for,” she said.

“We can extract the cameras and vacuums easily.”
