There weren't always dragons in the Valley. Not until a beautiful princess moved into the old castle. It had always been rumored that there was a princess that had lost her parents very young and had been taken away from the castle. The castle and Valley had been quiet since then. But about 21 years later, the princess showed back up. She quietly moved into the castle and never caused an issue. But now the dragons were becoming more and more obvious. This fantasy world was meant to stay hidden but the princess refused to stay hidden. She was quiet, but she was powerful.

"Saga!" A doe eyed girl with long blonde hair shot awake. "I told you to be up and ready an hour ago." A stern looking woman was glaring down at Saga as she spoke. "Uh yeah, sorry, ma'am." Saga mumbled back. The woman sighed and stomped out of the room. Saga rubbed her hazel eyes vigorously. Saga was a tall, beautiful woman. She was a bit of an outcast in the Valley. All because she was a witch. The Valley didn't have a thing against witches still but back in the heyday of the King and Queen and their small princess, witches were burned and persecuted by the King and Queen, so Saga and her sisters, Wisteria and Rowen kept it lowkey around the Valley. The woman that had just come in was their aunt, Fabula. She was.. an interesting woman and rather cruel. But she was leaving in 2 days time to go back home. Fabula had just been in the Valley to help the girls when their mother, Agatha, had passed away a few months prior. Today, they were meant to go into The Valley so they could shop and hang out before Fabula went home. Saga yawned and stretched before getting up to get the day started.

While the witches were getting ready to come into the Valley, the Princess was opening her eyes and stretching awake. The princess, Aurelia, was tall, with lightly tanned skin, dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She was always described as beautiful and fierce with a fascination with dragons. When Aurelia was just 3, her parents passed away suddenly and she was whisked away to live with her aunt, Mira and her evil daughters Shyla and Kaylann. As soon as Aurelia turned 18, she left the home. She had gotten a strange letter about the Valley from an unknown person. This place was always in her name from her parents and nothing sounded better than her own home. When she showed up, she was so taken aback by the castle and amazing valley, that she just knew this was home. But something tricky happened.. Aurelia didn't know this was a magical place or that she was part witch and part fairy. Once she discovered this through all the dusty but gorgeous leather bound books in the library, she brought in dragons and used her powers constantly. This all bugged the folks in the Valley. They had worked so hard to not let their mysteries be shown to the "normies" (folks without magical powers). But Aurelia went by the fact that their world was so protected with spells, that normies would never find them. And she wasn't wrong.. but it still bothered the locals. At the end of the day, they loved Aurelia, even on the days she drove them wild. The locals had all grown up with her parents and grandparents and so on, watching over the Valley.. until one day they just disappeared. Rumors had circled for the entire 21 years but nothing had been set in stone.. that was until Aurelia came back into town. Nobody knew the next few months would be very eye opening.

The sun was shining in the sky by the time Saga, Wisteria, Rowen and Fabula came strolling into the Valley. They lived on a patch of land with a few houses about 5 minutes from the town (the Valley). As they were walking up towards the shops, Saga glanced to her left and saw some dragons out in the fields, asleep or grazing around. They looked so stunning, she just wanted to run up to them but everyone knew only the princess could handle the dragons. Speaking of the princess, there she was. She was standing outside the bookstore and talking to the shop owner. Saga immediately felt her heart flutter. She never felt this way before. The princess was so stunning to look at, had such a warm smile and kind but cold eyes. Saga had to know more about the princess. Just then, Aurelia glanced up and locked eyes with Saga, this was the most beautiful person the princess had ever laid eyes on. "One moment" she muttered at the shop owner and beelined for Saga and her sisters and aunt. "Hi, I am Aurelia!" she exclaimed. "Nice to meet you. I am Saga and this is my aunt, Fabula, and my sisters, Rowen and Wisteria." Aurelia smiled and answered "it's so nice to meet you folks as well. What are you doing in the Valley today?" Fabula butted in at this point, "we are very busy today, doing shopping before I head back home and leave the girls to do who knows what." Aurelia shot Saga an interested look. Saga just weakly smiled back. "Well, it was nice to meet you. I hope you have a great day and hope to see you around." Aurelia stated, warmly. She smiled and waved goodbye. Saga knew she had just met the one.

Aurelia wandered back towards the castle, the whole time her mind was on that beautiful woman. How had she never seen this woman before? Being her normal self, Aurelia headed right for the large library. She opened a book called "Witches Through the Ages". She was surprised to see a photo of her mother to start with.. didn't her parents burn and persecute witches? She flipped a few more pages and there they were.. the three sisters and their sad life story. Their father had been one of those burned by her parents. It was rumored the witches didn't die but instead got banished to live with the normies. But still, that was some tough history. Aurelia read as much as she could the rest of the day about witches and more specifically about Saga and her family. Aurelia was so enthralled in the book she was skimming, she didn't hear the knocking at the front door. Her right hand woman, Katalina, popped into the room and said "you have someone at the door for you, Aurelia." She looked back, shocked. "Who?" "I am not sure, a beautiful young woman." Aurelia felt her heart leap as she stood up hurriedly and rushed down the stairs. She flung the door open to see Saga standing at the door with a stunning boquet of her favorite flowers. "How did you--?" before Aurelia could finish, Saga kissed her. Sparks went flying through Aurelia's mind and she knew it could not get better than this. She pulled Saga into the house and knew this was the start of something dangerous.
