Flying Saucer: Fiends in the sky

1947: Kenneth Arnold’s “Flying Saucers”

THIS IS THE KENNETH ARNOLD SHORT STORY USED IN THE 13TH TRANSMISSION’S YOUTUBE VIDEO “UFO HEARINGS JUST CHANGED EVERYTHING! CONGRESS CONFIRMS COVER-UP”

On June 24, 1947 when the heavens were clear and the winds whispered gently through the valleys of the Pacific Northwest, pilot private Kenneth A. Arnold would embark on a journey that would forever scar his soul. Arnold was going to an air show in Pendleton, Oregon on his single-engine CallAir A-2, a modest vessel for traversing the boundless void above. He departed from Chehalis, Washington Yet, fate — or something far more sinister — had other designs.

“It startled me. I just assumed it was some military lieutenant out with a shiny P-51 and I had caught the reflection of the sun hitting the wings of his plane.” — Kenneth Arnold

Arnold was a seasoned pilot, with countless hours of experience and was a member of the Idaho search and rescue unit. Bound for Oregon, his path was to take him through Yakima, where he planned to refuel… then, he hears it come in on the radio:

“A U.S. Marine Corps Curtiss C-46 Commando transport had crashed with 32 U.S. Marines on board.”

Driven by a morbid curiosity and the allure of a $5,000 reward, Arnold deviated from course to seek out the wreckage and try to claim the bounty. Little did he know, this, this was the very decision that would lead him to the edge of madness.

CallAir A-2

As he circled his A-2 some 20 miles to the west of Mount Rainier, without warning, a flash — brilliant, blinding, and utterly alien — erupted to the northeast. Arnold’s heart clenched in his chest, his mind grasping for reason. He thought, perhaps, it was the sun’s reflection on the wings of a distant P-51, a fleeting glimmer of human ingenuity. But the truth, when it came, was far more horrifying.

More flashes followed, each one a transgression to our natural order. They were not from the nearby DC-4 airliner, nor from any craft known to man. No, these nine objects — shiny, circular, and utterly incomprehensible. They moved in uncanny formations, a line of otherworldly precision stretching five miles across the sky. Each object was perhaps 100 feet in diameter, and devoid of any means of propulsion. They flipped and slanted with a fluidity that mocked the laws of physics, weaving through the air and violating the sky it occupied.

Depiction of Flying Saucers

Arnold, his hands trembling on the controls, attempted to measure their speed as they crossed from Mount Rainier to Mount Adams. His calculations were met with disbelief: 1,200 miles per hour,… perhaps even 1,700 he estimated. Such velocities were unheard of, and beyond the reach of any human technology. It would be months before Chuck Yeager, in his Bell X-1, would make history and pierce the sound barrier at a mere 700 miles per hour. These objects! these things! moved with a speed and grace that bullied and mocked the very notion of a sonic boom!

General Yeager made world history on Oct. 14, 1947, when he became the first man to fly faster than the speed of sound.

When Arnold landed, he sought to share his tale, to unburden himself of the howling horrors he had witnessed. He tried to sugar coat it the best he could, yet, the strawberry phrase that spilled from his lips was forever immortalized! For even at its sweetest interpretation it struck fear and panic, it was then when he unintentionally coined the term “flying saucers”. The most rainbow description of what he saw clinging to him like a curse. Newspapers and radio broadcasts spread his story far and wide with ardor that bordered on hysteria.

“Supersonic Flying Saucers Sighted by Idaho Pilot,” screamed the headlines, and Arnold found himself thrust into a Vortex of attention he never desired nor deserved.

For years, Arnold bore the weight of his experience, haunted by the knowledge that he and only he had glimpsed at something beyond human understanding. The insane objects he had seen were not mere machines; they were harbingers of a reality far more terrifying than anyone could ever comprehend. They moved with a perfect purpose, a malevolent intelligence that ridiculed all explanations. And though Arnold tried to move on, to bury the memory beneath the mundane routines of life, he knew the truth: the sky was no longer a place of wonder, but a veil hiding crimson horrors that no man could, should or would ever deserve to imagine, let alone witness.

In the quiet hours of the night, when the witching hour now comforts him as the world lay still and the stars burn bright, cold and distant, Arnold would awaken, his mind filled with visions of those nine shining castrations from hell. The embodiment of technological abomination, out there still, circling the earth, waiting. Arnold knew, with a certainty that chilled his very soul, that one day, they would return.

My name is Miasma Gerardo, and I’m obsessed with the mysteries of the universe — aliens, UFOs, and all things unexplained. Since youth, I’ve been fascinated by the unknown. Whether it’s staring at the stars or diving into theories, I’ve always wanted to uncover the truth. Now, I’m channeling that curiosity into this blog, where I explore the weird, the wild, and the downright unexplainable. When I’m not delving into UFO sightings or government cover-ups, you can find me being a proud cat dad to my two furry feline hunters, Gepardo and Yuki (yes, I’ve tried to convince them that the birds outside might be alien spies — they’re not buying it), binge-watching horror movies or jamming out to Rock & Roll while experimenting with weird coffee recipes (Martini espresso, anyone?).

I’ve spent years researching and analyzing the evidence behind UFOs, alien encounters, and the hidden forces shaping our world. I’m not here to sell you wild theories — just to explore the facts, ask the big questions, and challenge what we think we know. This blog is for those who dare to question, who crave deeper truths, and who aren’t afraid to venture into the unknown. If you’ve ever felt like the world is hiding something, you’re not alone.

Do you believe in aliens? Have you ever seen something you couldn’t explain? Drop me a comment or send me an email — I’d love to hear your stories! Ready to dive deeper into the unknown?
