Flumpy
Adjective describing the silly, random, nonsense actions of ones pet dog.

“Come in. Bear’s so excited to meet you.”
Nicky stepped in the house, and before she said a word to her friend, the yapping sound of a small dog started echoing through the house.
Quickly taking off her boots, Nicky spoke to Bear through the closed living room door.
“Hi Bear! Hi baby, how are you? Who’s a good boy?”
His barks got louder once he realised there was someone new to greet.
Nicky’s friend Olive closed the door behind them and told Nicky to brace herself. “He’s quite flumpy, especially around new people, so just watch how he is, okay?” The second she put her hand on the door handle, Bear quietened. Odd, Nicky thought.
Perhaps he’s not quite so hyperactive as Olive said, she thought.
How wrong she was.
An inch space was all he needed to barge through into the hallway, tearing around the room like a bull in a China shop. His claws skidded on the laminate flooring – Nicky thought it was like watching Scooby-Doo running around.
Bear ran three times around Nicky’s feet, looking up at her and hitting everything in his path – he knocked her bag over and it emptied onto the floor, her socks were left with three new holes, and he stole one of her leather boots in his sharp teeth.
The small dog took off into the next room, and Nicky burst out laughing.
"I love him!"
