Fire incident

Dangerous environment for me in first time

By Tasir ullahPublished 5 months ago 3 min read

People noise:

It must have been around 12 o'clock at night. I had just laid down on my bed to sleep when suddenly the sound of fire woke up the whole neighborhood. I looked out the window. People were running here and there in a state of panic. I also ran downstairs barefoot. And ran in the same direction. Where the people were going.

Flames:

I saw that the three-story house of a very big man was on fire and the flames had engulfed the entire house. The family members were calling people for help in a state of anxiety and distress. Some were praying and some were throwing things out. Hearing the noise and commotion, a large crowd gathered in front of the house. A few brave young men entered the house and started throwing things out. Several men picked up buckets and started pouring water on the house, dripping. Apocalypse was taking place everywhere. The owner of the house was fainting due to a sudden shock. The entire street had become a model of hell due to the heat of the fire.

The wind was strong, so the fire was spreading rapidly. The flames were talking to the sky. And black clouds of smoke were enveloping the entire house. The house's beams were burning and breaking.Voices were coming. Along with this, the screams of children and women made the whole environment extremely miserable. Everyone was afraid that the neighboring houses might also be engulfed in fire. People were pouring buckets of water on the houses. But the fire did not take the name of extinguishing. And like a terrible giant, it was bent on swallowing all the houses with its mouth open.

Child in a burning house:

People were running around in a state of panic when suddenly a painful sound of crying and beating was heard from one side. I ran towards it. A woman was screaming and saying, "Hey, someone save my Lal." Her four- or five-year-old child was left in the house. When asked, the woman told me that her child was on the third floor of the house. I knew the way up and I also had an idea of the room. I quickly entered the house and quickly jumped the meter ladder and reached the third floor.

Payment of Duty:

Now I was surrounded by a sea of flames and smoke. Tears came to my eyes because of the smoke. I was feeling a strong burning sensation in my hands and other parts of my body. The smoke was so thick that I could not extinguish it with my hands. With great difficulty I could see the four-legged stool. I ran and picked up the child and hugged him to my chest and ran down. Mir Asans had collapsed due to the smoke. But I had already reached the second floor before I could fall. From there I jumped. I was badly injured but I was very happy that I had not neglected my duty.

Arrival of the fire brigade:

The fire was spreading rapidly and most of the house had been reduced to ashes. Finally, a servant of God regained consciousness and called the fire brigade office. Not even five minutes had passed when the sound of the fire brigade vehicle's bell rang, bringing everyone to their senses. The fire brigade personnel, dressed in khaki uniforms and their helmets, got out of the vehicle and started working quickly. They started pouring water on the fire from the water tanks in the vehicle through large pipes. And then for several hours they kept pouring water on the house. Some of them, heedless of the dangers, jumped into the fire and started pulling out the burning goods. Their courage and bravery were commendable. Although some of their men were injured, they remained steadfast and died after extinguishing the fire.A pile of rubble:

After the fire, the entire house was turned into a pile of black dirt. There was a lot of financial loss, but thank God there were no casualties.
