Fever Dream

A Microfiction

By Dylan Published 3 years ago 1 min read

It all started while Paul was walking down the sidewalk towards the beach. First, he saw a couple of cats dealing drugs down an alley way, then three clowns rode by on unicycle's juggling jars of peanut butter while singing "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey.

What the hell did that barista put in my coffee? He said to himself.

"HOTDOGS! HOTDOGS! GET YOUR HOTDOGS!" The streetside vendor yelled out. Paul walked over to order a hotdog but instead of the delicious treat he was expecting, the man was frying Chihuahua's.

Then a car crashed into him.

He woke up sweating.

Dog lovers are not happy. Those little chihuahuas can be mean though.
