A Father's Hand

They had not seen their father since he was lying in a wooden box, five years ago. Yet as their world circled around them, both children could see him along the guardrail – as if he was in a spotlight on a stage. They could hear their mother scream as the sky spun below them with the ground above.

"Mom has more to do here,” he said holding out a hand to them, “It's time. Come with me, my little angels.”

Then, they felt time stop – and happiness.
