Introduction

Hi, I am Anaya Sierra I am the biological daughter of Tymir and Laura Sierra and the biological twin sister of Luke Sierra now let's get on with the story.

Chapter One

Trevon Pov

Ugh, I had to go to France for a ball the Siera's are throwing I wished that I didn't have to go but Ty'zeir and Elizabeth were making all of us go. "Trevon" my sister Alana was thinking "stop looking so miserable we get a break from Seattle". I rolled my eyes at Alana and she laughs in her mind. Lucas was thinking "I wonder what this ball is for", unfortunately, Kimberly didn't know what the ball is for but she had had a vision a few weeks ago and the Siera's were having a ball and we were all invited. We started loading our suitcases in the cars we were driving in and we got in. I took my silver Volvo and Ty'zeir took his black BMW. Kimberly and Lucas are riding with me, Alana and Marcus are riding with Ty'zeir and Elizabeth. We drove to the airport and parked then we get out and go into the airport to check-in. Then we waited for our plane to be announced and get onto the plane. I listened to the music I had downloaded before we left the house. Once we got to France we got off the plane and rented a car to drive. Once we arrive we are grateful that the sun is hidden behind the buildings so we made our way to the castle where the Sierras live and went inside to the receptionist I came across a scent that smelled very much like Strawberries and lilacs, but it didn't have the same effect that it would have if it was from a human. I peeked into Luca's mind because he is the newest member of our way of life and he was thinking the same strange thing that the scent wasn't affecting him like human scents normally do so I was confused with why the scent isn't having its normal effect that human scents have on him or me. When we get to the receptionist I saw a girl with Strawberry blond hair. And a girl with dark brown hair, when she noticed us she immediately knew who we are because she said" you must be the Santiagos" and we all nod and asked "how she knows who we are" she said "oh I did some background checks on all the guest attending the ball" then she said "I didn't want complete psychos attending the ball also because I know the Riveras aren't going to arrive until next week" So I said," so you're ok with part psychos". She smiled sweetly I couldn't help but smile back at her. Then out of nowhere, Marcus asked "are you human?" her response was "halfway". My family and I looked at her confused and then she began to expand on what she meant by that. She said "I'm half-human half-vampire" that's when we understood what she meant.

Chapter Two

Anaya's POV

I was just standing at the reception station in my home the castle of the Sierra's. I was talking to one of our receptionists when I noticed a coven of vampires come in front of the desk I immediately recognized them as the Santiagos because they're eye color. Their eye color isn't red like most Vampires instead their eye color is liquid-topaz and only two covens of vampires have that color eyes the Santiagos and the Riveras, and the Riveras weren't going to arrive for another week. So I said "you must be the Santiagos," Treyvon said "how did you know," I say "I did some background checks on all the guests coming to the ball". I also knew all the guests' names due to the background checks. I smiled sweetly and Treyvon smiled back. Out of nowhere although I know it was going to happen, Marcus, asked "if I am a human?" I answered "partly" they all looked confused and ask what I mean by that so I expand on that I said "I'm half-vampire half-human" then they realized what I meant by that. I told them about how my father Ty'zeir fell in love with a human and got married and that they didn't know that vampires and humans together were compatible to have kids so my dad outlawed vampire-human relationships. Then as if on cue, my twin brother Luke came up to me and I introduced him to the Santiagos. Luke said "hi" to the Santiagos "I am Luke Anaya's fraternal twin brother". Then I say "we almost killed our mom from the inside because of our strength so our father had to turn our mother Laura into a vampire to save her after we were born". So I say "who wants to see their rooms", everyone says "sure" so I lead them to their rooms and show them my room and then Luke's room. Luckily I'm a mental shield because I know that Trevon can read minds so he can't read my mind which is good because I am already gaining a mild crush on him. So while the Santiagos got unpacked I went to my room then after a while I decide to go to Luke's room and when I enter I see because I came in the room and I saw that Kimberly and Alana were watching Netflix and Luke and Marcus were playing a video game I am surprised that Marcus was winning because no one can beat Luke in video games except for me. Trevon was just sitting and watching Luke and Marcus play the game I sat next to him and then about 30 minutes later Marcus won. I asked Luke if I can have a turn he said "sure sis" and Marcus said "are you sure" I said, "yeah I'm sure". So I beat Marcus without too much trouble and when it said I won he is still hitting buttons on the controller like he can change the results then he snaps out of it and says "wha-how". I said "I'm a geek" and then Lucas says "you need to teach me your skills" and I say "sure no problem".

Chapter Three

Trevon's POV

When Anaya beat Marcus in the video game I had to admit that I was a little shocked not just because she won but also because Anaya is so hot it is just a little confusing as to why I can't hear her thoughts because I can hear her brother's thoughts just fine it's confusing me. I think maybe she's a mental shield. I can't help but stare at her without her noticing of course. I can hear Tymir noticing me staring and saying "I have a crush on her" I have to admit I do have a mild crush on her. Then Luke suggests "that we watch some of her old videos" and Anaya says to Luke, "Luke no pls no". Now that she's pleading with him to not put her old videos on my siblings and I were curious. So we ask to please see the videos then Anaya allowed Luke to show us but she added "I'll get you back Luke Cameron Sierra" my siblings and I just laughed at her reaction she just smiled at us. Then Luke puts one of the videos on and one of her friends asks her for help on writing a song for his girlfriend then she says "I haven't even had my first kiss yet" then she added "well I have but she doesn't like to count it as her first kiss" then she agrees and a week later they are finished writing the song he asks Anaya if she can sing the song and she is hesitant and he says "come on Anaya please I can't sing I am completely tone-deaf remember the spring concert when the teacher asks if I can stay home "sick" on the day of the concert" Anaya looks as if she remembers and then agrees only if he agrees to not show the song to anyone but his girlfriend then they record the video but they don't show them recording it. He agrees but I can tell that he really wants to share the song with other people. When the video finishes Luke asks her "who her first kiss was" and she says "you know" and does a dig deeper motion with her hand than he says, "Martin?" she says "yes" and says how the day that went to the skate park while the rest of the boys were still skating Martin came over to her and said you know the only reason I hang out with her brother is to get closer to her right and then he adds I have liked you for a while now than he kissed her and she didn't kiss back or pull away that's when Luke came over and... Luke interrupts her and says "I beat the heck out of him that's what I did and now I'm glad I beat the heck out of him too". That's when Kimberly chimes in and says "yeah that shouldn't count because she didn't want the kiss" and she agrees. After the video ended we all ask her if we can hear the song and she says "no it's too embarrassing" that's when Luke chimes in and says "Nya I know you can sing because I hear you singing in the car along to the songs on the radio so why do you think it's embarrassing?" Anaya says "it just is" then adds "look I'll show the song to you when I get ready ok?" we reply "ok". After that, she said, "she is tired and that she is going to bed". Then she goes to her room and goes to sleep. The next morning our family the Riveras arrive and say "the reason they arrived earlier than expected because Yasmin went hunting and didn't take as long as expected so they left the north pole early and that's how they arrived earlier than expected". That's when Luke comes in and makes himself some breakfast in the kitchen that was built after his and Anaya's birth. He greets my family and shows Rivera's their rooms than writes Anaya a note saying she missed Rivera's arrival. When Anaya wakes up she goes to the kitchen and makes herself some cereal and greets my family and asks Luke if he's shown them their room Luke says "yes".
