Faith Tested, Faith Restored

"Hello, brothers. I’ve been neglecting my faith for 6 years now as I lost belief in it. Recently I’ve been motivated to start all over again, but I can’t get the doubt rooted in atheism out of my head. Started off with loosing a loved person way too soon and as the time passed I fell deeper into the rabbit hole of nihilism and instant gratification, explaining my overindulgence in shallow activities, finding myself in a spot where I’m disgusted with myself. I’ve noticed just recently how low I’ve fallen. Would you have any advice on how to retrieve faith that was once strong? Thanks a lot in advance."

Nihilism, instant gratification, overindulgence in shallow activities, etc., are all symptoms of EMOTIONALISM, which is effeminate.

This emotionalism leads to irrational rationalizations.

Again: emotionalism leads to** IRRATIONAL RATIONALIZATIONS**.

And men are to be logical, not emotional; men dwell in reason, not feelings.

Every time you feel emotionalism creeping in, remind yourself that you are entering a FEMININE mode of being.

This alone should **DISGUST **you enough to fight the urge and repent, as indulged emotions are inherently repugnant to your masculine nature.

Instead, focus on the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23).

Practice discipline, fortitude, temperance, accountability, and patience.

Aim to cultivate a bulletproof frame, iron mindset, unshakable confidence, and indomitable spirit.

Take extreme ownership; hold yourself accountable for EVERYTHING, whether or not it is your fault—

—because it is your RESPONSIBILITY.

Listen, if God gave you everything you ever wanted—whenever you wanted it—you'd become a spoiled, rotten, ungrateful, entitled, TERRIBLE PERSON.

We all would...

So strip yourself of all sense of entitlement before the Lord—

—and temper your expectations.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away (Job 1:21).

Therefore, a spirit of **ACCEPTANCE **is critical, or you will never know peace.

Always control your emotions lest they control you.

In reality, masculinity is NOT determined by external forces—

—but by **INTERNAL **convictions.

Men exist to **OVERCOME **adversity, not to be overcome by adversity.
