Ep 6 : Phoenix and Albatross - tale of two wings

Sanam woke up and was struck with thoughts of Jan, but quickly realized she had more pressing matters at hand. It was a crucial day for her career as she had an important meeting at work. She got ready quickly and went downstairs for breakfast where she was greeted with a hug from her father, Akif. He asked her if she was okay after her upset demeanor the previous day. Sanam replied that yesterday was both exciting and emotional, but today was a big day for her and she needed to focus on it. She told her father, "Every day is a new day, let's not dwell on yesterday."

After a hurried breakfast, Sanam went to check her bag on the coffee table and noticed the TV was already on. The news was featuring Jan and his latest achievement followed by an interview. Sanam paused to watch, but was taken aback when the interviewer asked about criticism towards Jan's work. Jan replied in a mild tone that he categorizes critics into two groups, those who know nothing about art and those who he takes to heart and answers through his work. This reminder of yesterday made Sanam turn off the TV. Her father Akif, who was watching TV, was interrupted and asked, "Hey, I'm watching the show." Sanam, tensed, replied, "Sure, after I leave."

As Sanam slipped on her shoes, she groaned to herself, "Oh come on universe, really? I was trying to put yesterday behind me and focus on my big meeting, but now Jan's back in my head again." Her father Akif, who was watching TV, was puzzled by her outburst and asked, "Sanam, what's going on?" She mustered a smile and replied, "Just another day in the life of Sanam, Dad. Bye, love you!" and made a quick exit, leaving Akif scratching his head in confusion.

Meanwhile, Gwen, Jan's personal assistant, picked up the phone and dialed his number. She waited anxiously as the phone rang, finally relieved when Jan picked up on the other end. "Jan, there's a meeting scheduled for this afternoon with the 'Fandom Event Planners and Organisers' to finalize the details of your upcoming charity event," Gwen informed him. Jan replied, "Can you please reschedule it to the morning? I have some other important commitments in the afternoon." Gwen quickly confirmed with the agency and informed Jan to come by 10 AM.

Sanam was waiting for the bus when she received a call from Glizza, her coworker, informing her that the meeting had been preponed to 9 AM and she needed to come immediately. Sanam hailed a taxi and as she got in, the cab driver asked for her destination. She replied, "Fandom Event Planners and Organisers."

As fate would have it, both Jan and Sanam are on their way to the same location. Is the universe conspiring to bring them together after yesterday's events? What will happen when they cross paths again? And if they do, what will happen? The tension is palpable as they both make their way to their destination. As the taxi driver navigated through the busy streets, Sanam couldn't help but feel a mix of nerves and excitement. This meeting could potentially shape her career and she couldn't help but think of Jan. She whispered to herself, "Oh God, please make us meet oneday, after he has forgot what happened yesterday night".
