Engineer Me, Please
An inventor develops a new way to resist and eliminate a problem.
It was such a shock to the system. Literally. The AI robot intended to be a toy shocked a young girl. The parents sued and left the inventor virtually penniless. But he kept going. As a man of color, he targeted his one area of expertise: engineering.
He introduced the idea of engineering the girl’s brain to resist shocks from other robots. The family balked at first having received his money and wanting nothing to do with him. Then they softened.
The engineer implanted a chip that resisted the possibility of being shocked ever again by a new AI robot.

Once upon a time, an ant was passing along a path to collect grains of barley when suddenly her eyes fell upon a beehive. The sweet fragrance of honey made her mouth water. The hive was attached to a rock. The ant tried repeatedly to climb the rocky surface to reach the hive, but she failed again and again because her feet kept slipping and she fell every time.
