Dry Times
A Delaware tributary has seen better days.
“It’s gotta be climate change,” Peppy Perrigan spouted.
“Okay, and if we get rid of all the plastic bags in the world, there would still be water here, too, right?” Chevy Hillman asked.
“Well…I don't think…look, the globe’s overall temperature is rising. This could be a direct effect of that,” Perrigan piped up again.
“You’ve got it all wrong. The likelihood that internal combustion engines powered by oil and homes and businesses powered by natural gas and coal dried up in this place.”
Perrigan scoffed. “Well, it’s gotta be something. It didn’t just dry up,” Perrigan pouted.
“There’s no way.”
