Popee the parent

Popee not my art

After they took care of Kedamono Junior, they rested and shared gifts and cards with each other, to finish celebrating their six month dating anniversary.

They were tired and by the time Nina and her nephew Anthony came by with the crib, stroller and other gifts, they had put their son in their new crib lovingly set up by Nina and Anthony, and also went to sleep.

They were so tired they fell asleep in the regular clothes.

Kedamono Junior was waking up every three to four hours throughout the night and Kedamono and Popee took turns getting up to take care of him.

Popee had let Kedamono rest more as the last three turns were taken by him, knowing his boyfriend had work in the early morning, he wanted him to be well rested.

It was at some point Popee decided to stay up and work on some other things, so he put on a lab coat and made himself coffee and a cup of ramen.

Staying up more than half the night to do lab and scientific research, taking care of your new son—-it had drained Popee more than anything he had ever felt before, so he had, at one point, made himself a second cup of instant ramen and while he was eating standing up, he had started to halfway doze off.

He finally changed into something more comfortable but couldn’t stay awake, deciding to try and get another hour of sleep before Kedamono went into work.

He was hoping when he woke up, he would look cute again and not feel like an old dad trying to keep his eyes open.

Kedamono felt Popee climb into bed and cuddled close to him.

“Oh, baby, did you stay up all night?”

Popee groaned, nodding.

“Thank you, you are so amazing…” Kedamono said sleepily.

“I know, I know…”

“Kiss me, sweet thing..”

Popee smiled and got closer to Kedamono, kissing his mouth gently. “Mm… you’re just in your shorts…”

“So are you, Popee.” Kedamono said with a grin.

“Wanna fool around?”

Kedamono nodded. “I was missing you in our bed.”

“I was studying a bit.”

“My sexy scientist…”

Kedamono starts wrapping his legs around Popee’s midsection, pulling them closer. They felt their erections pressed against each other, making Popee whimper. The uninhibited noises of wanton pining emitting from Popee’s lips were enough to set off Kedamono, who started moving against him as he started gently climbing on top of him.

“Oh, baby, I kept thinking about last night… you made me so…”

“So what, Keda?” Popee said saucily, but then yawned.

“Honey, sleep. You’re very tired.”

“I want you… please, Keda…”

“Later, my heart.” Kedamono kissed his cheek. “I’m not going into work today. Or the week. I belong here with you and our son.” He got up and put on a shirt.

“You’re quitting?” Popee said softly, his eyes closing.

“I was already quitting, Popee. Might as well do it now. We have money saved up. In the meantime, I’ll find a new job in the city and I’ll help you with Kedamono Junior. That is, until we move.”

“Okay, love you…” Popee was already half asleep by the time he finished speaking, he was snoring and deeply out of it.

Kedamono smiled affectionately at him and made fresh coffee, starting breakfast for them.

He took a quick shower, and after saw his son was waking up and fed him breakfast. Popee woke up a few minutes after, and kissed him good morning.

“I look like shit, don’t I?” Popee said, his hair looking wild and messy, and his eyes red and tired looking.

“You’re so damn beautiful, Popee. Shush.”

Popee grinned at the quick and sweet response, and Kedamono was so happy at that moment, as they all sat down for breakfast as a family.

It felt perfect, better than any dream.
