Jimmy shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

He was always nervous around the boss, but these circumstances were bad. Like a six million dollar embezzlement bad. If Mr. Freddy hadn't agreed to meet him at crowded Roseanna's restaurant, Jimmy would be three states away.

"Thank you for seeing me," Jimmy said, "and accepting my apology."

Mr. Freddy nodded graciously.

"You know," Frank continued, "I was really worried that, after what happened, I was a goner."

"But Jimmy," Mr Freddy said with a slow, dangerous smile, "all these people work for me."

The restaurant went silent. Every eye turned on Jimmy.
