My heart broke for the little boy who led the cortege. He trembled, clutching a small bunch of daisies he'd picked himself, blades of grass resting on his recently-bought brogues.

If I'd had all the strength in the world, I couldn't have held back tears the way that boy did today. As he walked, strong fingers rested on his shoulder. None held his hand.

You should lose your baby teeth before you lose your parents.
