I sit here on this slab, complete with pen and notebook. My surroundings are full of lush greenery and a waterfall rushes by. The birds make sweet melodies out of their cute little tweets, while the animals in the fields communicate and sing to each other. The sky is a mesmerizing blue, and the sun is so bright, diamonds dance off this grey dull slab. I have been sat here, mesmerized by this beautiful imagery for hours, and yet I still have a blank page. The beautiful scenery is distracting, and it has completely blanked my mind.

"Tweet! tweet! tweet!"

I hear the sweet melody of two small birds chirping in the lush, green, tall tree's that surround my chosen space.

"Tweet! tweet! tweet!"

I hear the beautiful melody again.

The tweeting is distracting, so I turn my head to the sound.

I see two beautiful black and white birds in a tree, entwined in love and romance.

My heart bounces into joy, and suddenly I am taken away from the breath-taking view before me and my mind imagines the same view from a different viewpoint.

I begin daydreaming about what to write about.

In my daydream I'm sitting in an exotic place full of streams, rivers, waterfalls, lush, vibrant colorful flowers and beautiful breath-taking birds.

The waterfalls are crystal clear as they thunder into the pools below them. There are magical colorful fairies dancing everywhere, otters running back and forth from the rivers, fish swimming in the stream and birds tweeting and making romance in the trees.

The daydream is so calming that I do not wish to leave.

"Am I really here? Why leave this beautiful world just to go back to the sad, dirty, dusty world of my old life?"

I come out of my daydream and feeling surprised, I notice there are words on the first blank-page of my note-book. I feel a little overwhelmed when I see the beautiful words I have written.

I then realize it was a daydream.

I take a look around me, and though still in that beautiful lush place where I started; I am disappointed to be back to the lush-green scenery, where there are waterfalls but no otters running by. My surroundings have changed, and before me is the dull, grey slab I was sat on with my pen and notebook.

However, feeling glad that I have written about this beautiful daydream; I pick up my notebook and take one more look around me, smiling. dreams can be really fullfilling when they appear on paper, though I do not remember writing at all!

Life can do surprising things to your imagination when you look for it.

Feeling adventurous, I set off home. However my journey doesn't stop there;

A dream never ends; like the river flows, the pen also flows. The mind can do great things, and imagination grows when it is triggered by beautiful things. All it takes is a creative imagination and a beautiful piece of scenery to trigger a daydream in order to create a beautiful piece.

This is not the end of the journey; it is the beginning. The road to our dreams does not end. Once the mind is open, like the river flows, the mind flows and the page was never invented only to be left full of blank spaces.

I hope that you enjoyed this beautiful story. If so, I really appreciate hearts and people sharing my work with others. Tips are nice, and every tip enables me to succeed with my work. I leave you with a massive thankyou for reading, and a big shout of appreciation to all my readers and fans!

What a beautiful piece. You’ve captured the mysticism and angst of writing so wonderfully. Lovely imagery as well. Cheers!
