David's Secret

David and Vlad were sitting in the back of their mom's car as she dropped them off at school that day. This was the day that David would go through with his plans. David thought, "What should I strangle my brother with today—a sock? Yeah, I'll use a sock. " David smiled and looked out the window as they pulled up at their school. Vlad would get out first and be greeted by his girlfriend, Samantha, or "Sammy" for short. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and smiled at their mother and said, "Morning Mrs. Moreno!" Molly smiled at her, laughed, and replied, "Darling, I told you you could just call me mom!" They hug each other before the bell rings. Then, Sammy ran off with Vlad to their first class as David decided to walk slowly, deep in thought. "So after I kill him, I’ll invite her over and then have my way with her."

David sits through history and English while he picks through his lunch. He's waiting for science. Today they are going to learn about surgeries. David watches Vlad from across the field as he eats lunch with Sammy.

Once the bell rings, David finishes his English homework, walks off to his locker to put his completed homework away, grabs his science notebook and book, and heads over to Mrs. Norman's class.

Mrs. Norman clears her throat and looks at the class, then smiles at David as she starts her lesson for the day. David pays close attention to how to properly cut into the flesh. David looks up at Mrs. Norman as she passes out the test from last week and pats him on the shoulder. He got 100% yet again.

For David, the last two hours of the day go by in a blur. He walks home alone, thinking. He got home about twenty minutes before Vlad did. Vlad decides to sit on the couch and read for a little bit, and he stifles a yawn. He falls asleep half an hour later, and David walks up slowly behind him with his tube sock in hand and duck tape. David duck tapes his brother's mouth shut and his hands together. and his ankles, so he can't escape. He wraps the sock around Vlad's neck and pulls back. Vlad starts to struggle for a few minutes, then he is still, dead.

David reaches into Vlad's pants pocket and fishes his phone out, opens it, and texts Sammy to come on over. He waits a few minutes, and Sammy replies, "be there soon." He goes down to the basement and sets up his surgery kit, then runs upstairs and closes each curtain.

David opens the door after Sammy knocks three times. Sammy hugs David and walks in, looking at Vlad's dead body, and sighs, not surprised. Then she turns and smiles at David. "So what did you need to see me for, sweetie?" David smiled at her and held his hand out to her, and she took it. Well, I wanted to see you, that's all. How would you like an after-school snack? " Sammy thought it over and asked, "Do you have any of those little finger sandwiches from yesterday?"

David smiles wider. "Yes, yes I do. How about sweet tea? " Sammy smiles and follows him and sits at the island in the center of the kitchen as David walks around getting her an afternoon snack. When David mixes the sugar into her drink, he mixes sedatives in and places her drink and sandwiches in front of her. "Here you are, Sammy. Enjoy!"

Sammy takes a long drink of her sweet tea and starts to eat her sandwiches. "God, David, your tea is the best." She hands him her cup for a refill. As he goes to refill it, he watches her start to get loopy. "Should we make our way to my room to study?" Sammy nods and lets David lead her to his room, where she sits at the edge of his bed, eyes half-closed, smiling at David.

David leans down a little and asks, "What's on your mind?" Sammy grabs his face and kisses him, giggling. "You're extremely cute, you know? I could just... " She passes out mid-sentence. David places one last soft kiss on her forehead and carries her bridal style down to the basement and straps her to the hospital bed he acquired after stripping her down.

David smiles and pokes Samantha's neck, waking her up a little right before he grabs a spoon. They make eye contact just as he pops one of her eyeballs out of the socket and she screams. "DAVID! STOP... BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. We can say it was an accident." David smiles sweetly at her and says, "I can't. This is how it's supposed to be love. " David pokes her other eye out, and it dangles down her face, causing her to whimper.

David puts the spoon down and trails a finger up and down the scalpel on his table, sighing and whispering. "I hope you find this as enjoyable as I do. You are my masterpiece. " He picks up the scalpel and kisses it, and cuts along her hairline just deep enough so it will peel from the muscle. Sammy screams in pain as David begins to peel her face off down to her neck. Then he takes his scalpel again and cuts along her shoulders, peels off her arms as if they were sleeves, and sets them aside, smiling and looking at her as she passes out.

"David, come help with the groceries!" his mother calls. So he pushes Sammy into the large closet and shuts the door, then runs up the stairs after wiping himself off and changing shirts. Jared passes David by and decides to go to the basement to check their freezer for meat for dinner tomorrow. He comes across the skin from Sammy's arms. Jared shakes his head and sighs, thinking, "Damn it, do I hide this... or do I contact the doctor again?"
