Michael had forever been somewhat of a recluse, liking to invest his energy lost in his own considerations as opposed to associating with others. He had never been especially fortunate in affection, and he had become burnt out on the dating scene and the unending procession of frustration and grievousness.

So when he coincidentally found a dating site called Cupid's Bolt, he was interested. The site vowed to match clients in light of their inclinations and character qualities, and Michael was anxious to check it out.

That was where he met her: Sarah. She was delightful, with a comforting grin and shimmering eyes, and Michael was quickly attracted to her. They began talking, and Michael was astounded by the amount of they possessed in like manner. They shared an affection for books, music, and the outside, and Michael felt like he had at last found somebody who genuinely figured out him.

They began dating, and Michael was overwhelmed with passion. He had never felt as such, and he was persuaded that Sarah was the one. He was anxious to take their relationship to a higher level, and he arranged a heartfelt end of the week escape to a comfortable lodge in the forest.

At the point when they showed up at the lodge, Michael was loaded up with fervor. He had arranged everything flawlessly, from the candlelit supper to the comfortable fire in the chimney. In any case, as the night wore on, he began to see something abnormal about Sarah. She appeared to be far off, as though she wasn't actually there.

Michael got over it, ascribing it to nerves or stress, however the following morning, he awakened to observe that Sarah was no more. He looked through the lodge, however there was no hint of her. He called her telephone, yet it went directly to voice message. He was starting to feel panicky, similar to he was flipping out.

Days transformed into weeks, and Michael turned out to be increasingly more fixated on tracking down Sarah. He scoured the web, looking for any data he could see as about her. However, the more he dug, the more confounded he became. There was no record of a Sarah with a similar profile picture, similar interests, or the equivalent history.

Michael began to feel like he was losing his hold on the real world, and he started to contemplate whether Sarah had at any point existed whatsoever. He was frantic for replies, so he employed a confidential examiner to assist him with seeing as her.

The specialist's discoveries were stunning. Sarah was not who she professed to be. She was really a famous catfish, utilizing the dating site to bait men into connections and afterward vanishing suddenly. The examiner showed Michael proof of a few different casualties, all with comparative stories to his own.

Michael was crushed. He felt like a simpleton, similar to he had been taken in by a bent swindler. He was loaded up with outrage and a requirement for vengeance, and he set off on a mission to find the one who had destroyed his life.

He tracked down her in a modest community on the edges of the city, living under another personality. He stood up to her, however she just giggled at him, provoking him with her trickery. Michael was headed to viciousness, and he went after her, made distraught by his fixation and his aggravation.

Eventually, Michael was gotten and captured, his psyche consumed by the curved dream of an affection that had never genuinely existed. He was condemned to life in jail, his destiny fixed by the bolt of Cupid's brutal and turned bow.

Years passed, and Michael was forgotten by everything except the rare sorts of people who recalled the narrative of the one who had freaked out chasing after adoration. Yet, the memory of Sarah remained with him, an unpleasant sign of the risks of fixation and the tricky force of the web.
