He couldn’t sleep. Donnie had finally invited him to stay over at the big house, but he was wide awake. Damn! Why'd that spaceship blow up? He wanted to go home.
“Poor you.” What the heck? Who’d said that?
“Yeah, poor little him.” A second voice chimed.
He sat up, screaming silly. The ghosts of George Washington and Jackie Kennedy Onassis stood by the bed, silhouetted in moonlight.
“We’d leave, too, Muskaroo, if we could find the damn door in the East Wing!" said George.
Jackie glared, adding, “And don't even get us started on the Rose Garden."

OMG, this is hilarious, I love it!! If the ghosts could speak….oh, the horrors they would recount.
Muskaroo! What a hoot! Nothing is sacred anymore. Great Drabble, Cindy. Good luck on the challenge!
This was absolutely hilarious, Cindy, I’m glad you didn’t resist the writing urge for this one. I wonder if aliens are really afraid of ghosts.
