Dear Momma,

There has been a secret that I have been keeping from you. Something that has been weighing on me for some time. About 2 years ago I was sucked through a portal. That portal led to a world filled with magic, dragons, elves, and many other kinds of creatures and people. This world had humans like ours but their technology was hundreds of years behind ours. However, with the help of their magic, they can accomplish the same things we can. While there, I met many different kinds of people. Such as people that were half human and half animal (beast people), elves, dragons, dwarfs, and even fairies, small creatures who guarded the Great Forest.

When I first got there, I was pretty scared since I was in an unknown world. I soon learned the name of this world is Dragonia. I had been summoned here by the current king, Vangerd, and his wife Zephiria. I was supposed to be summoned on my 18th birthday but they had to summon me earlier to help fight the Demon Lord, Vetis who came earlier than prophesied. They needed four royals to complete a sealing spell powerful enough to seal the Demon Lord away. They then asked me to marry their daughter, Princess Avalyn. When someone marries into the royal family, they are gifted with the strength and power of the royal bloodline. I asked them how I was supposed to return to my world. I was told the only way for me to go back to my world was to seal Demon Lord Vetis and complete the prophecy.

The prophecy foretold of the Demon Lord marching across the lands stealing the magical essence of all living creatures. The only way to defeat him was to seal him away using the four elements; fire, water, air, and earth. I agreed to help and the wedding date was set to 2 weeks from then. The princess was a good person and cared deeply for her people and her people loved her just as equally. I started training with Avalyn to master my element of fire. Avalyn has the element of water, King Vangerd has the element of earth, and Queen Zephiria had the element of air. We trained vigorously for 6 months. In that time, I bonded with the princess and we truly fell in love with each other.

When Demon Lord Vetis’s armies attacked, we were prepared. We had the support of the elves, dragons, beast people, dwarfs, and fairies. It was a grueling battle that lasted several weeks. The fairies specialized in healing magic and kept our soldiers alive. The dwarfs made exceptional armor and weapons for our soldiers. The dragons used their fire to decimate Vetis’s foot soldiers and the elves used their exceptional archery skills to take out the Flyers. The beast people, although low in magical power, had amazing strength and speed, allowing them to keep Vetis’s army at bay. With the support of the elves, dragons, dwarfs, fairies, and beast people we were able to complete the sealing spell and seal Demon Lord Vetis for eternity.

When the prophecy was complete, I was returned to my world after about 6 months of peace in Dragonia and gifted with the ability to open the portal at will to continue the life I had in this new world. I found that I had returned to the same place and time when I first went through the portal, meaning the year I spent in Dragonia was something only I would know about. During my adventures I made many new memories and met many new friends. Most importantly, I made a friend for life. Would you like to meet her? Would you like to see the world I will one day rule over?

Love,

Your Son
