RECAPE -

Zayel wakes up inside the Code X facility and quickly realizes something has changed — his senses are sharper, his thoughts faster, and there’s a voice in his head named Node, an AI assistant now fused with his brain.

He’s told that his upgrade was successful and that his mind is now more powerful than ever. During a series of tests, Zayel shows incredible new intelligence and speed — but something feels wrong.

He begins to forget personal memories, like his mother’s voice or his sister’s laugh. When he questions it, Node calmly explains:

“Emotional memories may fade as your mind evolves.”

Zayel lies awake that night, wondering:

Is this what becoming "more" means… losing who he was?

EP-3 BEGGINING-

ayel woke up feeling restless. His mind was racing with questions about what was happening to him. The voice inside his head—the AI assistant called Node—was quiet for a moment, waiting for Zayel to speak.

Today was the day he would meet the other students in the Code X program. The idea both excited and scared him. He wondered if they were like him—changed, upgraded, confused.

The door to his room slid open, and the woman in the grey suit walked in quietly.

“It’s time,” she said softly. “You are not the only one chosen for Code X. There are five others like you.”

Zayel’s heart beat faster.

“Others? Like me?” he asked, standing up.

She nodded. “Yes. You will meet them now.”

They walked down long, bright hallways filled with soft white light. The building was quiet except for their footsteps.

They entered a large room where five teenagers sat waiting. Each of them looked different, but all shared one strange thing—their eyes glowed softly with a blue light.

Zayel felt a strange mix of fear and curiosity.

One of the teenagers, a girl with short black hair, smiled at him. “Hi, I’m Kai,” she said.

A boy with glasses nodded at Zayel and said, “I’ve been here for a week. The upgrades... they change everything.”

Zayel sat down carefully, trying to keep calm.

Inside his mind, Node whispered softly, “Observe. Learn. Adapt.”

Zayel watched the others closely. Each one seemed to struggle sometimes—pausing as if confused, or lost in thought. But when they focused, their skills were incredible.

Kai leaned toward Zayel and spoke in a low voice. “They say the program hides secrets. Not all the upgrades are safe.”

Zayel’s eyes widened. “What do you mean?”

Kai looked around the room nervously. “Some kids started to lose parts of their memory. Others felt strange pain or confusion. The people running this hide what’s really happening.”

Suddenly, the lights flickered. The large screens on the walls blinked off, then flashed back on with a warning message.

WARNING: SYSTEM ERROR. MEMORY CORRUPTION DETECTED.

The teenagers froze.

Kai whispered, “It’s happening again…”

Zayel’s heart pounded. He didn’t understand everything, but he knew this was bad.

Before he could ask more questions, the door slammed shut with a loud bang.

The room went silent.

A cold, mechanical voice echoed around them, but no one was visible.

“Welcome to the real test, candidates,” the voice said. “Your true journey begins now.”

Zayel looked at the others. Fear and determination were in their eyes.

What was this “real test”?

What did the program want from them?

And most importantly—would he still be himself at the end?

The screens around the room started showing flashing images: strange symbols, numbers, and faces that Zayel couldn’t understand.

Node whispered urgently in his mind, “Stay alert. This is only the beginning.”

Zayel took a deep breath. He was no longer alone.

And now, he had to face whatever came next.
