Code X: Human Upgrade- Episode 11 – The Upload
Some truths must be shared with the world.

RECAPE-
After barely escaping a trap inside the elevator, Zayel and Lira break into the secret archive room hidden deep in the Code X facility. There, they uncover the shocking truth: Code X was never about helping people — it was about control.
The documents reveal that the upgrades were designed to create obedient superhumans, not free individuals. Armed with this truth, Zayel and Lira prepare to share it with the world.
But before they can leave, Dr. Varin appears, calm and confident. Instead of stopping them, he lets them take the files. As the episode ends, it becomes clear that Varin wanted them to find this information… and has already planned his next move.
EP-11 BEGGINING-
Zayel stood frozen. Dr. Varin had arrived, flanked by guards. Lira stepped back beside Zayel, both now surrounded in the archive room.
The files still streamed on the screen. Everything about Project Genesis was there: how the Code X upgrades weren’t made for human improvement, but for control. Obedience. Weaponization.
Varin smiled coldly.
“You’ve seen too much. But it doesn’t matter. You won’t leave this room.”
Zayel didn’t blink. “I don’t need to leave. I just need to upload this.”
He tapped a final command on his wrist console.
“Uploading to external net…”
Suddenly, the lights flickered. Alarms rang outside the archive.
From a hallway speaker, Kai’s voice echoed:
“Zayel, we’re in! The system gate is open. We’ve got 30 seconds!”
Varin turned sharply. “Stop them!”
The guards raised their weapons. But Lira reacted fast. She knocked over a server unit, creating a wall of sparks and smoke.
“Run!” she shouted.
Zayel sprinted down the corridor, console in hand. Behind him, red lights pulsed, and boots thudded on metal.
He reached Kai and Dex at the main relay hub.
“Did it work?” Kai asked, eyes wide.
Zayel nodded, out of breath. “The files are uploading to the global archive. Anyone watching will know what Code X really is.”
Dex looked amazed. “So… we’re finally telling the world?”
“Yes,” Zayel replied. “And they’ll have to listen.”
Back in the archive room, Dr. Varin watched the last piece of data disappear off the screen.
He didn’t yell.
He didn’t panic.
He simply smiled.
“Well done, Subject 01.”
The teens gathered in a hidden storage tunnel beneath the complex. Lira finally caught up, bruised but alive.
“We bought ourselves a few hours before they track us again,” she said. “Maybe more if the upload jammed their comms.”
Zayel pulled up the link on his wrist console. The public channel was live.
Viewers: 2,190,835… and rising.
He scrolled through comments:
“What is this?”
“Are these real experiments?”
“They’re controlling minds?”
“We need answers!”
Kai smiled. “It’s working. People are finally seeing the truth.”
Dex added, “And the more who know, the less they can silence us.”
But Zayel wasn’t smiling.
He stared at the screen, quiet.
“Varin didn’t even try to stop the upload.”
Lira looked confused. “What do you mean?”
Zayel looked up, serious. “He let it happen. On purpose.”
Across the city, in a tall hidden tower, Dr. Varin watched a different screen.
On it, faces of all four teens were being scanned and tracked.
A digital voice confirmed:
“Public trust response: 62% believe subjects. 25% unsure. 13% reject information.”
Varin turned to his assistant.
“Perfect. The world thinks they know the truth. But this is just one version. The version I wanted them to see.”
The assistant looked uncertain. “But sir, won’t the full exposure bring Code X down?”
Varin chuckled. “No. It prepares them for the next stage.”
In the tunnel, Zayel’s console beeped again.
A message.
Anonymous.
Encrypted.
He opened it.
“This is not the end. Project Omega is live.”
The message self-erased.
Zayel looked around. “We’re not done.”
Kai sighed. “What now?”
He raised his eyes.
“We find Omega.”
