City?
Welcome to unique dom. Where sloe berries come to warn the city dwellers about a fault in history. What happens when a man cry out to no one? Read to find out.

‘Who ever heard of sloe berries with eyes riding a sheep to the city?’
Said David with a posh accent. His upper lip barely leaving the lower, a closeted power under his tongue as it projected into Thorn's ear.
‘The humans will do us like Marshall had done to Lionheart's horse.’
Said dark thorn, but his voice was like the rumbling of thunder. It was quick and frightened.
‘Perhaps a little fast in thought?’
David’s voice raised slightly in question.
Blackthorn hated David, but only for a moment before his hatred landed elsewhere.
For a long time they laid dead on the branches in the woods, but the eyes of a sapien lie. Some say they were edible and not very tasty, some used them for gin, those alcoholic nincompoops. But while the earth orbits and the winter waits around the corner, they set out on an adventure to warn the sapiens of a fault in history.
‘Get out of the way you freaks!’
A sapien man shouted at them, he was of young blood. His arm swung in rage through the window of his car. Gesturing them to move over where they belong, along the side of the road with those slow parading cyclists.
‘Bly me, they seem to have gotten worse.’
Cried David.
‘My fears aren’t so far fetched now, are they, David?’
Said thorn with a goading tone. He smacked the sheep and it went faster, till they were soon at the gates of the city.

’I hate you!’
yelled a sapien man at no one but the digital billboard.
‘I’m hungry!’
Said a homeless man.
‘I can’t afford to feed both you and myself,’
pronounced the old lady, grabbing her purse.
‘I am tired of wearing these wet clothes,’
The homeless man took his clothes off and threw them at the old lady.
‘Cover your eyes Ruth!’
A father warned, but his mouth flung open like a carpet that was below half an inch.
The man’s body was wasting away, his eyes started to bleed purple. Like the blood that ran through the sloe berries. A crowd started to form, and the homeless man looked towards David and blackthorn.
‘Pick up your cross and follow me.’
Said David sternly.
They hissed until the men of horns came with pitchforks, shoving them to march behind David and blackthorn.
‘What is a bigger burden than the one you’re leaving behind, sapiens?’
Asked Thorn, his confidence and spirit was building as they all followed behind.
‘This is more a burden than anything. And you wanna know why? Because we can’t do what we want.’
Said a young girl of 20.
‘How far has that taken you?’
David asked a condescending question that had surprisingly silenced the young girl.
As they walked in the middle of the road. The ones in the cars could do nothing else but to get out and abandon their cars, the others ran over some unlucky sapiens and this caused the young girl to fall miserably into tears. But they all followed the sloe berries until they breathe their last.

The way this shifted from absurd to ominous so quickly was brilliant. I'm also really feeling like a gin now lol!
Captivating Caitlin, left me wanting more.
Oooo, I especially loved it when his eyes started to bleed purple. I don't think I've been these berries before, so thank you for the pictures. Loved your story! Hope you feel better soon. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
This is a great thriller, and poke berries are only good for the birds.
