Chocolate Poison

One Can Choose Many Ways To Die

By Victorian Black Published 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 5 min read

She tried to remember the days of feeling alive, but she could not. It seemed to have been so long since he had already moved on to another girl, not at all that looked like her, but in some way, in all the ways it annoyed her. It seems she had been a play toy to him, as he smiled at this girl with fair dirty blond hair & sky blue eyes. They dined in the room where he had made his move to stop her heart. But now it was her time to act out a plan of her own. She stood behind this girl, looking in the bathroom mirror checking her adherence. The poor girl did not know what would happen next if only she could see her looming over her & as she set her hand to this pure and loving girl's bare shoulder, the light went out for her. But the light went on for her and the blurnees of an indeed boy became living clearness.

She smiled at herself in the mirror, then walked out of the bathroom after placing a dark lip on the pale ones that her host owned. She walked over to the kitchen and took out a simple cake mix and cocoa from the fridge along with special toxic ingredients she called everything under the kitchen skin because that face it, she did not have time to order and poisons & it not like this host had any that would work. She just hoped they would work fast because if he caught on she would be twice dead or is it once since this was not her body, she dumped the ingredients into a bowl and mixed it around as she thought of how she might present the toxic chocolate dessert.

She poured it into a non-stick pan and slid it into the already heated oven. Then, as she waited, she mixed a simple buttercream. As the buttercream thickened then set. She heard the sound of revenge & opened the oven holding her breath as she took the cake out then closed the oven fast. The darkness to the outside matched the color of the man's heart. She was black but not but she hoped or he would not get much down. As she walked over to the freezer and slid the cake in then waited as she tapped her black heels on the floor waiting for it to cool so enough she got impatient and slid the freezer open. Taking the cake out and slathering it in white buttercream. Hoping it would mask the chemical taste of the special ingredient.

She took a tub from the host, cupboard & slid the cake into the tin as she looked up at the clock & breathed feeling her heartbeat slowing. How would have thought a beating heart was something you were lucky to have. She had never thought that before. Bud that was when she had not been poisoned & turned into a cold & heartless ghost. She walked over to the door oping it as she glided down the stairs. Who would have thought, she would get white privilege this way it only took being dead & possessing a girl she never know. A car honked as it caught her off gate she waved at one cab as it slid into place. Her black high heels tapped on the concrete. She then slides into the cab sitting the cake on her lap. Her bowed pale eyes looked out onto the city landscape.

The cab came to a halt under the city light tracing the building she had to go into, making the dark brick building seem more joyous than it was like the lights hight the outside. A man held the door open it took all of her not to tell the driver to keep going she spun the gold simple necklace. Reminding herself she had the control, unlike the last time she step her black heel out & pushed herself out of the yellow cab.

The man stood there looking at her as she came towards him, she took to the stairs and walked up to them the cake dish in her hand, as she stood in front of him he laid his hand on her back pulling her into the house. Looked down at the cake as they stood in the hall. A gloomy feel to the environment, “ though I would bring some cake dessert for dinner”

He looked at her with his dark eyes “ thought you were gluten-free?”

She smiled and walked forward the cake in between them “ Aw come let me have some fun”

He smiled and leaned down leaning in close playing with her hair “ I would love some desert”

They walked into the dining room as she set the cake down on the dark wood table, as she saw him go to the kitchen she lifted the top of the tube where coving the cake as she watched him. He came close to her bind her and hand her the knife resting his chin in between her neck and shoulder. As she cut the cake and then she laughed as she slid a piece of the cake onto a dark blue plate as he pulled the chair from the table next to where she was sitting. As she lifted the knife and was cutting another piece she looked at him and smiled as he dipped his fork is not the cake and to a bite as joy came to his face and he took another bite and anther as she could her onto her plate his piece was gone.

“ how would have thought my girl be-” but he did not finish his sentences as he started to chock on air and he but his hand to his heart as he felt pain in his chest, as he stood up he feels back down she moved her foot to push in the chair and he feels backward his dark hair head hit the wall leaving a trace of blood as he slid down the wall and his eyes went into the back of his head, she looked at him a smile on his face as she came near him and leaned in close leaving a kiss on his cheek the last words he hears where “ that’s what you get for killing me, I have quite a persistent personality” then the host she had pressed passed out laying on the floor as she stood there a ghost hoovering near the two bodys and then turned and walked towards the front door a smile played on her blue lips.

Victorian Black

I have always loved writing, even if it can be challenging sometimes but that has never stopped me. I have always wanted to be an author. Many of my books take topics people are afraid to talk about, so I put that topic in my writing.
