Candles, Chaos, and Unexpected Connections
No electricity, no Wi-Fi, just a whole lot of laughs and a little bit of magic.

Hey, my friend. Throw a chair, take a cup of coffee or a tea when your jam and let me talk about one of these nights that remains with you forever. The way everything goes laterally, but somehow teaches something great. Ready? Cold. Come on.
When life launches a curved ball
So imagine the following: it's a Friday evening. Nothing special, my miso cat (yes, like the soup) and a medium -fried potato bag on the sofa. I see a program on people cooked by pastels who have the shape of a dragon or other when Bam! Short electricity.
At the beginning, I like it: "Well, there is no biggie. Probably just a fusable rinse."
I take my phone to check Twitter updates, but Oh, wait, he also died because I forgot to load it before. Movo Clasic Mey. Now, I feel there in the black countryside and I wonder if I should panic or simply start singing, letting him go for some time. Spoiler alarm: this also happens. Instead, he did something he did more.
Balance, breath ... who is there?
About ten minutes later, it's my door. Here is the point: I live alone and the random shots after midnight generally mean bad news. Perhaps a person's car collapsed, or the extraterrestrials are finished or both. In any case, I'm not excited.
But curiosity makes me better, so I look at the tip of my feet and look through the hole. Mrs. Patel is on the other side of the room. It has a torch and looks super stressed.
"Hey," he said when I open the door. "Do you have candles? My nephew sleeps and is afraid of darkness."
It was discovered that his emergency kit lost batteries and did not know what to do. I gave him two big candles I had there (thanks, buying in the target) and I invited them for a second. So things have become interesting.
A call for the alarm clock in the neighborhood
While Mrs. Patel and I were funny, another neighbor arrived. Then another. Before realizing, my small apartment was full of people outside the building, exchanging all the stories, sharing snacks and discovering what was going on.
There was Tony, the boy who always wears Hawaiian shirts in winter. Floor and sauce flow. Sarah, the Yoga teacher, appeared with a card game. And Little Leo, the grandchildren of Mrs. Patels, remained funny making shaded dolls with their hands on the wall.
It was wild. None of us really remained in advance. Of course, we nodded in the corridor or exchanged with courtesy on time, but it was all. But here we were like old friends in my living room, we laughed and we talked as if we had met each other forever.
Connection power
When the hours have passed, we shared more than simple snacks. People have opened their lives: good things, difficult things, disordered environmental pieces. Tony explained to us how it was released last month and had difficulty finding work. Sarah has admitted that she felt alone since she moved to the city. Mrs. Patel said she had lost her deceased husband and how Leo remembered all the love he had shared.
Me too? Well, I lost the beans for the way I felt blocked lately. As if life was approaching the limit and saw the repetition of Netflix. When I heard everyone's stories, I realized that I was not alone when I felt lost.
When the lights crowded around 2 in the morning again, none of us wanted to go. We are kidding to start a weekly match or a culinary dinner. It was discovered that the loss of electricity gave us a little brighter, a feeling of community.
