Burdened With Glorious Purpose
A brief analysis of Loki's our purpose

Loki season 2 has finally ended with the most heart wrenching conclusion. Loki known as the God of Mischief eventually came to terms with his purpose as the God of Stories. Astounded by this character's development in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I feel that he is a character I relate to the most, and perhaps to many as well.
There is a wide bridge, an oceans apart between the subject of Gods and Humans. Gods being this grand entity, unbreakable and unflinching. Whilst Humans are seen as often frail and delicate, subjects to society's constantly changing nature. Here is where I realised that Loki isn't that much of a difference to us. Loneliness is one of the main features as to why this character is particularly relatable. Like many of us, we live in a world where forming friendships and preserving kinships is difficult. Finding your purpose in life, questioning if this is all there is, becomes a constant visit in your subconscious. The black sheep of the family is another core characteristic of Loki. Asgard does not want a sorcerer to be King, its land needs a warrior as King. Loki reminds me that we are all different. That there is always magic within us that could enlighten the world's monotonous pace of being shackled by society's norms. That despite feeling lonely against those who fit in, we will eventually find our purpose and fulfil it, otherwise the feeling of its burden will continuously crawl under your skin.
The moment he realised that he's the only one that could save his found family was a heartbreaking and bittersweet moment. Finally coming to a conclusion on which God he needed to be, without hesitation and much words, he gave one final glance to his friends. A glance of another chance in life and found purpose. As he walked and changed into his original form as God, it was a spectacular moment watching a misplaced God, who in his entire life, have been lost in the path of determining his rightful throne. Here he has found his sovereignty, here he has finally come to terms with the reason of his existence as the God who has reshaped his story and will continue to look after and carry the universe's narrative.
I have realised that eventually, no matter how many times we end up saving those we cherish, in the end solitariness prevails. To conclude, you save everyone, but who will save you?
