At a Bible study in Newark, Delaware, Oscar Grovington asked a simple question to the twelve or so people there.

“So is Jesus still wounded from being on the cross? he was supposed to be wounded for transgressions and bruised for iniquities, but he showed Thomas on Earth. So did he ascend back into heaven with his injuries?”

The pastor, Reverend Tipton Cossack, mumbled and fumbled.

“Well, there’s ugh, there would be holes from the nails and the place where he was pierced.”

“In heaven?”

“Yes, I think that is the case.”

“Even if that were true, it’s ghosts, ghouls.”
