Xavier P.O.V

I made 2 mistakes in my life.

It started with me leaving her when she needed me the most.

The next thing was to turn my head to look at her, to see what I had lost. Which was the most terrible mistake ever. But now I will probably lose her forever.

*a Few seconds earlier*

We were both laughing and smiling. I miss this. I miss spending time with her, kissing her, and holding her in my arms. I turned my head to look at her and saw her smiling broadly. She turned her head and the car started spinning and before I could react, the car was flying. I reached out for her, but my hands felt numb. All of a sudden everything stopped. The spinning, the screaming, the pain, it was just dead silence, my head was pounding. The car was upside down. I turned my head but then a pain hit me straight in the neck. I stopped moving. When I remembered Isabella I turned my head more slowly and saw that she wasn't next to me or in that case anywhere near the car.

I tried getting out but it was kinda difficult with all the pain shooting through my body. When I finally got out of the car the first thing I looked for was Bella. While I was looking around I saw people standing on the sidewalk looking shocked. When I touched my head, there was something wet on it. When I brought my hand back, there was blood. "My head is bleeding," I thought. I started walking but it was kinda challenging, so I was mostly limping my way around looking for Bella. I had to squint my eyes from all the smoke for me to see more clearly. Suddenly, I saw Bella on the ground, all bloodied. I started running and when I came near her, I was so shocked I had to stop.

I try not to damage anything more than they are already damaged as I hold her in my arms. I look at her and her face looks lifeless like she is already dead. I took two fingers and put them under her jaw line to check if she still had her pulse. When I checked her pulse, it was very faint. "Someone call 911" I screamed. I was shaking I couldn't think straight. Within 5 minutes of holding her, I finally heard the ambulance siren every second. It gets louder and louder until finally, I saw the red flashing light of the ambulance. After a few moments, they were loading her on the gurney and taking her to the ambulance. I was trying to ride with her too but someone was stopping me telling me that I should get checked and speak to the cops. At first, I was confused because I didn't see cops. However, when I turned around I saw that there were a bunch of cops walking around the area inspecting the accident. Yellow tape was being placed around the scene.

I don't know what had happened but when I opened my eyes I saw all-white for a second I was confused as to where I was but when I turned my head to the left I saw that I was in the hospital, I was confused as to why I was in the hospital but when I looked up I saw that the television was on but it was on mute, I looked around for the remote and found it on the table next to me on my right and grabbed it and took the t.v off mute, I heard people talking about an accident than in the background I saw my car upside down then everything that had happened came crashing back into my brain, I was so focused on the television that I did see that there was someone standing right next to me until they retrieved the remote and shut the television off. I turned my head and glanced at the person, and smiled evilly.

"You did well, you know, acting all innocent" he smiled at me while walking around my hospital bed and then over to the couch in the corner next to the window. He sat down while crossing his right leg over his left leg and then crossing his arms over his chest.

"I don't know what you are talking about"

"Right, I bet you don't"

"I don't I'm perfectly innocent"

"Just cut the crap already, we all know you are the mastermind behind all this"

He looked up at me and smirked "well if you insist my dear brother" he replied, "just know that this isn't over we are just getting started" he stated. "why put me in there, I'm in here because of you, I thought we were working together on this" I said while glaring at him. He leaned his head back on the couch in a laughing manner. When he finally calmed down, he glared at me, "just know one thing brother, I always and I mean ALWAYS work alone".

He stood up to leave but when he was close to the door I said: "you're not about to get away with this" he turned around and gave me an evil smirk "watch me" he then walked away closing the door behind him. "What did I get myself into?" I thought.
