Before The Beginning Was The End

"Mom just trust what I'm saying please, OMG jeizz this is exactly like my dreams! We just need to trust them so we can stay safe and alive, PLEASE MOM! I just KNOW that they won't hurt us if we trust them". I look at Morgan as he's pleading with me to just listen to him. I look at him astonished, never knowing about him having these types of dreams, oh how I wished he would have told me sooner.

You see, since Morgan had been born almost twelve years ago, I've been having dreams of aliens and UFO's and all kinds of crazy dreams where they were trying to get to him, communicate with him, and I even once dreamt of them abducting him. I knew that people would call me crazy or even worse if I ever told anyone about them so I kept it to myself. Plus, it's not like they could ever come true or anything, right?

Morgan, Zakiyah and I had left our hometown about four hours away so I can do my work study in Halifax, as my older children stayed home in Cape Breton. I decided it would be best to bring them with me as they were still young, a preteen and a teen, both with medical issues. We'd been here in Halifax about a month before we noticed that UFO activity was at an all time high, yet there seemed to be nobody noticing it or just not reporting it. The entire world was still just so concerned and focused on Coronavirus and when the next strain will come out and how bad it'll be. Covid had just become the 'new flu' and people were continuing to become sick after vaccinations, just a never ending cycle. If only the governments were honest with the world to begin with, we may have not come to this.

As an investigative journalist in training, everything that was secretive always piqued my interest. I had noticed awhile back that everytime there was UFO sightings or some other type of unexplained phenomena in the sky, a new strain of covid then vaccine seemed to follow almost immediately. Almost as if the strains were delivered every single time. Was anyone else noticing this besides myself? I tried to ask my supervisor at the news center why weren't we covering this and weren't they seeing what I was seeing, she just shrugged me off and told me not to be poking around where I shouldn't. Whatever that meant.

Now we're on day thirty-three of the entire world having no electricity, no communications, and our skies look like a highway of foreign objects. There seems to be less people walking by each day and all transportation seized on day one of the 'end' I suppose, I don't even know what to call this time that we are going through. We haven't been able to reach our family back at home and I'm extremely worried about my older children, all I can do to see their faces is to look at my three-way heart shaped locket with their innocent faces looking back at me. I needed to reach them, I needed to see them and to hear their voices, I needed to know that Xavier, Xzanna and Xziyah were safe and okay.

"Mom! Are you listening to Morgan? I think he's right. What else can we do at this point? OMG Mom, we can't just stay here forever! You always told us not to be scared, now you're just being a hypocrite." Zakiyah sides with her brother. I've always told my children that I'd always believe in them so maybe it was best, plus she just always knows what to say to get me going. This wouldn't be so scary if there weren't any UFOs flying above us right now, and if the city weren't looking so deserted, which is usually filled with so many people, pets and traffic. I look at my heart shaped locket again and tell them both, "Fine! I get it, It's all or nothing. Tomorrow morning we will set out and try our best to get back to Cape Breton and to your siblings! May the universe be on our side!"

Day thirty-four of not knowing what's going on in the world, the three of us and our cats Missy and GarMan set out into the world headed north with only the essentials needed to make a fire and shelter. Who knew that I'd still remember how to make shelter in the woods using only things we can find in the forests, from Mi'kmaq Science Camp when I was just thirteen. I guess that sometimes us humans tend to remember the things that we didn't really think we'd ever need to know how to do in life. We hoped to just find fish or wild animals to hunt along the way. As for the foreign highway in the sky, we planned to just act like it's not there and just ignore it. If we need to, we'll just be brave and not get scared at all. If anything, we'd try to be friendly or fight for our lives.

We had barely made it out of the city and just got to the Trans Canada highway about ten minutes before, when in slow motion we see a UFO drive away from the 'sky-way' and come straight towards us! I can't even think at this point and I feel a slap in the face, thanks Zakiyah. I come to realize that my kids were telling me to calm down, be strong and brave, but cool.

It stops in front of us, sets itself down, and then the door opens. All we could do was stare with our mouths open. Beautiful. This vehicle was absolutely beautiful, shiny chrome with purple trim. I always thought that they would look scary up close.

Out come two beings, not ugly or scary looking, but just different. One of them actually looked familiar somehow. The smaller one speaks first "Hello. We have been here on your planet for three hundred and fifty nine years in human time. Our people want to co-inhabit this world with your people but not many humans understand, nor do they know love, compassion, honesty, and everything good needed to live in peace and harmony."

Zakiyah is the first to speak back "Wow! Hi, I'm Kiyah and my brother here Morgan told us that we should trust you and not to be scared of you." All I can do is look back and forth at them all talking, unable to even open my mouth to utter a word. The older taller one speaks "We've been communicating with Morgan since he was an infant, as well as many other humans in this world. We've made many attempts to connect with your mom but we didn't succeed. We knew that Morgan and the others would understand. We tried telling the leaders our plans to join your civilization so we can help better this planet, but they refused to listen and they started a secret war with us. The more we showed up, the more people would get sick. They were making 'vaccines' to help the sick but we found out that they were injecting people with agents that would make us invisible to the naked eye. We were trying to communicate so we can ask the people if they would welcome us on your planet, but with the governments fighting and stopping us, we had no choice but to shut down all forms of communication around the world until we can settle this."

"What? The dreams, is that what you mean? Why us? What good is it by shutting down the world?" I had finally spoke and almost regretted the words as soon as they came out. The younger one then says "Well, we believe that the world needs more love, compassion, honesty, trust and understanding. What this world has become is the worst we've seen it in all these years here. Please don't worry, your other children and family are fine, well at least the good ones. We've already spoken to Xzanna, Xziyah and Xavier, they are good. We will take you to them."

Morgan looks at us and says "It's time mom, we need to trust them. They will take us home to Cape Breton to see our family"

I have to admit it, the taller one was a lil cute in an out of this world kinda way. Oh myyy.. did he just smile and wink at me? Ugh, I really must be losing my mind now. Nope, I guess not because he then looks at me seriously and says:

"Ahh, Hi. I am Sachin Kumari. I come from a planet not yet known to this planet's people. We know that you and your family understand and support us in what we are trying to do. We want to help heal this planet before it's too late, it's being destroyed more each day. If the Earth's leaders do not want to do what is right for the planet and its beings, then we believe that it is time that the people get their opportunity to choose for themselves. I know you understand, I've been with you and your family for so long I sometimes had to stop myself from showing myself to you too early, and not just because of my Earth crush on you"

I smile shyly, then take my kids hands in each side and we follow the beings into their vehicle, GarMan and Missy in tow. "Wow! The inside looks so awesome!" Morgan exclaims. By the time he was done his sentence we were already landing in our yard in Wagmatcook, CB Island. Home sweet home. I kissed the ground as soon as I got out and by the time I stood up, there was Xavier, Xziyah and Xzanna waiting for me to hug them! Xavier giggles and then says "why does it look like you guys are going camping, hunting, fishing or something? And I guess you weren't crazy about the Aliens after all, eh Momma!"

..wait, what did they mean by the good ones?
